  • The Reunion was awful in

Every way it didn't follow or even attempt to fill the 2 1/2 year gap

  • Neat. Jessica is my cousin.

  • The thing about the reunion that pissed me off was that the writers had two years to come up with juicy storylines. Even the 9th season, which was declared by fans as the best season after Moldavia, was better than this piece of shit! It seemed that they just threw the reunion together to pacify the audience!

  • this was crap

  • Most of you know JF, LE and JC took pay cuts to make this happen, right?

  • Their sacrifice was in vain.

  • Linda looks like a man in the fight scene!

  • This is excellent! first you get the audio intro , then the actual credits, then a highlight of one of the Dynasty catfights to reach popularity. I think the boutique/warehouse catfight got more publicity than the miniseries.

  • is there any way that you could upload the whole movie? if this is possible that would be great, and thanks for the video. It's greatly appreciated!!

  • When was this miniseries aired? 1991 or 2001?

  • 1991.

  • 1991. In 2006, they did a reunion special where the actors talked about the show.

  • It was all hype , i would have like Dominique to look after the house & Blake ; Sable & Monica taking some power in Denver and Jeff running Colbyco. While Adam went to jail , Blake , Dex and Alexis n semi comas , Sable named Dex' guardian .

  • one of the best shows ever,,,,but this was not a good reunion,,,,,

  • It's not strange that Jeff didn't try to buy the mansion but it's incomprehensible that Alexis didn't!

  • I would have liked to have seen the whole Krystle/tumor thing dropped. And with all his resources Jeff allowed the mansion to be sold, where he also had lived. Have Krystle/Krystine living in the mansion, many of the luxuries noticably missing. Jeff helping out, Blake coming out of jail, Alexis getting over a health scare/waiting for Blake to get out.

  • Even though the Reunion was a bomb, this was the best catfight. It was done so much better than any of those during the nine-year series.

  • I'll always say I liked the studio fight best.

  • The thing about it was that Dynasty O.D.ed on drama. The writers were so desperate to beat Dallas that they took a dead end road in order to secure their place in the ratings. Season after season they kept going by that they had to out do what they already did. Every season had to be more dramatic, more over the top. That's why shows like Dynasty and Melrose Place quickly lose quality and burn out and shows like Dallas and Knots Landing last a whole lot longer!

"The thing about it was that Dynasty O.D.ed on drama."

Dynasty didn't O.D.ed on drama, more like they O.D.ed on the cat & dog fights to the point it became comical like in this catfight scene with Alexis & Crystal. Knots Landing played up the drama, with well written storylines, plot twist, in which Knots became a much better show (always was IMO) than both Dallas and Dynasty.

  • @MrJuly1990ish

They O.D.ed on drama and I'm not gonna argue with you about it. With storylines like Blake getting amnesia and Kystle's evil twin how can you even not consider that they didn't. I don't know about Knots Landing being better than Dallas though, it was certainly better than Dynasty. Knots Landing, in my opinion, was the first show to actually do what HBO shows are doing that basic network TV doesn't , which is go deep with the characters and let them tell the story.

  • @FamilyGuy770

I'll put it to you this way: Dallas was really good in it's earlier years, but Knots Landing got even better over the years and surpassed it IMO. In other words, Knots Landing became in the mid to late 80's/early 90's, what Dallas use to be in the late 70's/early to mid 80's. Dallas started to decline (with stupid storylines) with this "It was all a dream and Bobby Ewing is alive!" and following season with the "Mysterious disappearance of Pam Ewing" BS.

  • @MrJuly1990ish

Well, the whole dream season and the mysterious disappearance of Pam was in direct correlation to the fact that Victoria Principal quit the show and that Patrick Duffy quit and then wanted to come back. Even though those two storylines did in fact damage the show, it was because of actors' flakiness not so much the quality of the writers they had.
