However the two peoples influenced each others culture to a very high degree this is why you see similarities. Latins, Celts, Nordics, ect all interbred resulting in a near uniform culture across europe.

Its a reference to the Schutzstaffel AKA the German SS. They use the SS as modified Swastika in their symbol and as the abbreviation of the Russian words for the Slavic Union. You're referring to the 19th and 20th century term that is a classification for the type of languages of the native people of those areas. However it was proven that Indo European language systems have a stronger tie to native tribes of the Middle east, not Aryan and other asian tribes.

However the two peoples influenced each others culture to a very high degree this is why you see similarities. The Russian civilization was the result of Slavic and Nordic people interbreeding throughout the bronze and later Iron age. Latins, Celts, Nordics, ect all interbred resulting in a near uniform culture across europe.
