I don't mean to get race involved but I've only seen white people and some black people experience NDE. Are there other races experiencing NDE's? If so, where are they?
I also had a near death experience. I think that with regard to other life out there, GOD is the creator of all and I cannot see HIM stopping at just us. Just look at the degree of creation on this planet. It is incomprehensible. It seems to be something HE loves.
My opinion: The thing that made me not believe him is when he said Christ takes different forms on different worlds. Logically, it's probable there is alien life, but going by what the Bible showed about different races in biblical times; if aliens are in fact in need of salvation, that alien life would most likely be considered essentially the NEW GENTILES, which means they're waiting for Jesus, just like the OLD GENTILES, not an alternate incarnation of some Christ concept. I dunno.

I have read various near-death and pre-death experiences by many, many people - and what is very curious to me is that at least half a dozen people I've read online and on books also claim that they learned of other worlds in this Universe with alien life - one declaring that the cosmos are abounding with different kinds of life. But these were so minor details of the experiences that they were mostly overlooked. And many also spoke of other Universes as well...

I believe this man. I've always believed that we can't be the only beings in the universe. I know there's gotta be more intelligent life out there, other than just us. What I don't understand is this guy saying He was sent to Hell and yet was spared and went to Heaven. All this happened despite Him living out most of His life rejecting the Gospel of Jesus Christ as truth. I know he wasn't dead for long. Maybe God didn't condemn him because it was not his time? I have seen Howards testimony elsewhere and he only got saved because someone used to pray for him every day for years. Because of our lack of understanding, too, we all tend to treat prayer with contempt and not realise its full power or potential.
Judgement and condemnation are real and we need to be aware of this. I don't know if what this man is saying is true. What I do know is that well meaning Christians often have this idea of God as a being who embodies love yet lacks holyness. Yes, God is love and He shows mercy more often than wrath. But if he did not punnish dissobedience then He would not be good and just. His unconditional love does not mean He loves us so much that the sin within us does not anger Him. We all deserve wrath.
It's hard for me to believe in this because the Word says that we -- human beings on this earth -- are the Bride of Christ. And He wouldn't have more than one bride, would He? We belong to Him alone just as He belongs to us alone.
Where there is the greatest darkness there must also be the greatest light. We do have incredible evil here, but it is our opportunity to gain light by our actions. We have unlimited opportunity here, where, on other worlds, we would not have so much to overcome. Why does this guy have special insight beyond divine revelation? The Bible says nothing about a universe full of aliens, much less perfect aliens. If there were aliens, given their proclivity for purportedly abducting humans, they hardly seem like perfect beings.

The reason He said, "Let us men in our own image" (and that was the Father speaking to the Son) is because He hadn't always made men in His image. If it was so obvious that making men implied making them in His image, why did He have to specify it? Precisely because the previous creations weren't all in His image, which is why He had to specify it for this very planet.

I meant that other "scriptures" should be used only to help one understand the Bible. Also, you referred me to the Mormon scriptures in order to strengthen a quote from the BIble. I say that either one believes all of the Bible or none at all. Because take into account when Jesus said "he who has no sin can cast the first stone" in reply to that example.

About believing all of the Bible, what I found is that not all of the Bible is reliable: because the original manuscripts have been permanently lost, what we have in today's Bible is not entirely what the original manuscripts said. Not only did Joseph Smith (the founder of Mormonism) say that the Lord had revealed this to him, but even a prominent scholar today confirms that: Bart Ehrman, who has nothing to do with Mormonism.

Nevertheless, on a more personal note, I have read parts of the Bible and found it to be very enlightening and to be the truth! And sometimes it takes me aaaaaaages to understand even a verse -its really deep. So for now, what I have is valid enough and true, and much more than I can digest I think for a lifetime...

Bart Ehrman only knows part of what J. Smith knew: Ehrman didn't know what the original manuscripts said, while Smith, purportedly under divine inspiration, restored in writing what they said for the most part. Part of the countless things that turned up was, for instance, that Cain & Abel were not Adam's first children

This is pretty cool, but the main problem I have always had is Hell, I just have a hard time believing it, or I just don't want to believe it. How could God send someone there in the current state he is in, thats being alive on earth where everything is confusing, There maybe be people who don't believe, why should we say they will go to a hell. I believe in people's heart of hearts they also have real problems with hell or are uncomfortable with the idea of it.
@kaberlee Let me say this, God has offered everyone a way out of Hell. Nobody has to go and that's why it's such a Tragedy. everyone can be exonnerated from it because of Jesus. I don't think God has special punishments lined up for people in Hell, but think of it as a place where God is not. No love. No Joy. No dancing or good music. No welcomed smiles or freindships or puppy dogs or ice cream. A place where God -- and all is benevolence has been sucked out of -- is worse than anyone can bare.
For any that don't believe in God I dare you to pray this little prayer. "God, if you are real I want to know you. Please reveal yourself to me." Now that won't save you but, if you truly mean it in your heart, I guarantee your life will be forever changed. The bible is far from imppossible, It's actually very cut & dry.You either make a concious effort to live according to GODS will or you don't. Not saying that it will be easy, but GOD is in the business of forgiving.So if you slip up (which we all do) on this journey,repent & try your best to never repeat that again. Also " A righteous man falls 7x's a day & rises again " Proverbs 24:16. Even the righteous ppl don't get it right all the time, but they get up and try it all over again.. :)

The books of Isaiah, Micah & Zachariah clearly speak on the messiah to come & he did come, that was a prophecy fulfilled. Well, that's completely contradictory to the idea of Satan and Revelations in the Bible. The idea of other perfect worlds not being under the control of Satan and the war in Heaven coming down to Earth doesn't strike true with my knowledge of the Bible. Iv'e been looking at Howard Storms testimony on another site (clubsoda69) I am disturbed really about how Howard has said that Jesus or the angels told him that 'there are many roads to heaven! that those who are seeking the truth like Hindus and Buddists etc will see Jesus when they die then more or less be educated then go to heaven! My opinion: The thing that made me not believe him is when he said Christ takes different forms on different worlds. Logically, it's probable there is alien life, but going by what the Bible showed about different races in biblical times; if aliens are in fact in need of salvation, that alien life would most likely be considered essentially the NEW GENTILES, which means they're waiting for Jesus, just like the OLD GENTILES, not an alternate incarnation of some Christ concept. The reason He said, "Let us men in our own image" (and that was the Father speaking to the Son) is because He hadn't always made men in His image. If it was so obvious that making men implied making them in His image, why did He have to specify it? Precisely because the previous creations weren't all in His image, which is why He had to specify it for this very planet.

According to them, when God said to Moses that in the beginning He created the heavens and the earth, He specified to him that He was only talking about the beginning of this planet's history, NOT of the universe's history. So according to Mormon scriptures, the universe is older than the earth

@ShujiGangsta 2. Mormon scriptures do reveal that the Lord HAS created civilizations on countless other planets, and that our planet is NOT the only inhabited one at the PRESENT time. But they don't specify what image they were created in: I figured some of them had to be different from us from simple deduction. Why do you think the Father said to the Son "Let us make men in our own image" for this very planet if creating men automatically implied creating them in His own image?

Also, I can not believe in anything but that from the Bible. I meant that other "scriptures" should be used only to help one understand the Bible. Also, you referred me to the Mormon scriptures in order to strengthen a quote from the BIble. I say that either one believes all of the Bible or none at all. Because take into account when Jesus said "he who has no sin can cast the first stone" in reply to that example.

About believing all of the Bible, what I found is that not all of the Bible is reliable: because the original manuscripts have been permanently lost, what we have in today's Bible is not entirely what the original manuscripts said. Not only did Joseph Smith (the founder of Mormonism) say that the Lord had revealed this to him, but even a prominent scholar today confirms that: Bart Ehrman, who has nothing to do with Mormonism.

@LDSfaithDefender I dont know about Mormonism, Ill have to research that. I know that not all of the Bible is there - this makes me wonder, who is eligible to be in the Bible anyway? Nevertheless, on a more personal note, I have read parts of the Bible and found it to be very enlightening and to be the truth! And sometimes it takes me aaaaaaages to understand even a verse -its really deep. So for now, what I have is valid enough and true, and much more than I can digest I think for a lifetime...

Bart Ehrman only knows part of what J. Smith knew: Ehrman didn't know what the original manuscripts said, while Smith, purportedly under divine inspiration, restored in writing what they said for the most part. Part of the countless things that turned up was, for instance, that Cain & Abel were not Adam's first children

For instance, God said, if someone tells you something and its not in the Bible then, it isnt true. So what you should have done is gone to your Bible and indeed, the Bible does not say that they were the first children of Adam and Eve.

This is pretty cool, but the main problem I have always had is Hell, I just have a hard time believing it, or I just don't want to believe it. How could God send someone there in the current state he is in, thats being alive on earth where everything is confusing, There maybe be people who don't believe, why should we say they will go to a hell. I believe in people's heart of hearts they also have real problems with hell or are uncomfortable with the idea of it.

@kaberlee Let me say this, God has offered everyone a way out of Hell. Nobody has to go and that's why it's such a Tragedy. everyone can be exonnerated from it because of Jesus. I don't think God has special punishments lined up for people in Hell, but think of it as a place where God is not. No love. No Joy. No dancing or good music. No welcomed smiles or freindships or puppy dogs or ice cream. A place where God -- and all is benevolence has been sucked out of -- is worse than anyone can bare.

The bible is far from imppossible, It's actually very cut & dry.You either make a concious effort to live according to GODS will or you don't. Not saying that it will be easy, but GOD is in the business of forgiving.So if you slip up (which we all do) on this journey,repent & try your best to never repeat that again. Also " A righteous man falls 7x's a day & rises again " Proverbs 24:16. Even the righteous ppl don't get it right all the time, but they get up and try it all over again.. :)

The books of Isaiah, Micah & Zachariah clearly speak on the messiah to come & he did come, that was a prophecy fulfilled. Educational wise, We got the Commandments from GOD the most popular being the "10" The entire world has practically made laws to govern their own countries with these 10. Some places take these laws out of context way to much & others not so much.

Well, that's completely contradictory to the idea of Satan and Revelations in the Bible. The idea of other perfect worlds not being under the control of Satan and the war in Heaven coming down to Earth doesn't strike true with my knowledge of the Bible. I sense a hint of reincarnation and New Age belief in that last bit of his recollection.

Iv'e been looking at Howard Storms testimony on another site (clubsoda69) I am disturbed really about how Howard has said that Jesus or the angels told him that 'there are many roads to heaven! that those who are seeking the truth like Hindus and Buddists etc will see Jesus when they die then more or less be educated then go to heaven! That is really a dangerous veiw to be spouting off...we must make a desicion for Jesus 'before' we die...or else its just a free for all without consequence.

I have put his testimonies in my favourties as I think its really interesting and food for thought...but I am concerned about the salvation issues...He says that Jesus is the Way and even quotes the Word saying that no one comes to the Father but through me'..but he uses that for people coming to Jesus 'after' they die! I think the bible is clear that the Way is narrow..and unfortunately few find it. )few compared to the multitudes going to hell)

@pudster456, Nowhere in Scripture does it tell us we can come to Christ after we die. It's either Hell for non believers or eternal life in Heaven for God's elect.
This testimony does not pass the smell test. When he says that Jesus told him "any religion" is good, just pick the one that gets you closest to God, that's when the sirens went off.
Jesus is the only way to the Father. Jesus is Lord only in Christianity. Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, New Age, etc.., doesn't teach the real Jesus.

I am probably closer to a spiritualist than anything else, but I do not use it as a religion as I have learned that religion is unnecessary. I could never honestly return to Christianity. I never have had the faith in the bible that you do now. Rather than ignore Him, I recognize the reality of the Creator, but no other members of the supposed trinity. I will check out your video.
