  • WHERE are you when you crossed the first road?

  • That sled rips

  • Nice video. Amazing how fast the speedo gets buried. I just bought an 04 zr 900. It is mint with 2000 miles and all stock. Insane power. Any upgrades you can suggest?

  • Depends on how much money you want to spend.

  • they should bring back the ZR or Thundercat.

  • Ya i agree, I love my ZR 900. Even being a 900 it still sips the gas compaired to my ZRT 600. That was the only problem of the triples besides the extra weight.

  • @CosmikDebrisFZ

Thats wierd. My SRX 700 sips fuel compared to most 800 twins.

  • Your lucky then. My ZRT was a little hard on the fuel. Maybe the clutch set up had something to do with it where it would shift at a higher RPM.

  • i got my 2001 t cat wound up so much it broke the speedo link. aand no to all you people i did not throw a bearing in the drive which usualy causes the links to break. i already checked that. haha

  • The only problem with the cat speedo is that at 100mph indicated you are really only doing 85mph as indicated on a GPS. Sorry.

    Steve

  • not according to my GPS, it tells me that my speedo is only 3mph off. how would you know anyway, its not your sled. are you an Arctic Cat speedo professional? My sled was pretty accurate as far as speed. unlike most. all sleds are like a pair of tennis shoes, they all run and are calibrated different.

  • whats with all the cat tach's being twisted all around?

  • cause it red lines at 7400 rpms, so turn it up and when the needle is pointed straight up then that tells ya that your at the red line mark. cause you dont have time to read numbers at those speeds

  • i bet i could easily take u

  • All i did was put heavyer weights in the primary, with the '06 secondary upgrade, SLP silencer, 209 studs, airbox booster adpt.,Boyesen reeds. But yeah the 900's are known for there snappy, torque

  • is that clutched out or are those 900s just that snappy?

  • haha mines faster

  • How'd you know? thats not right anyway, i've got another vid. on here that shows the needle Straight down! this vid shows it only about 4 oclock! 117 on my GPS

  • iight man good point but i got a 2003 zr 900 sno pro, with v force 3 reeds, a heavy hitter clutch kit, power breather, race can, and above all a 40 shot of holtzman nitrous, so yehhhhh mines faster

  • take away the NOS and lets see!.. why do u need NOS to beat someone. thats like cheating.

Ok, i have Boyseen reeds with reed spacers, HPI pipe AND silencer, Also a HPI header pipe, I've "indexed" my spark plugs, a clutch kit with heaver weights in the Primary, 288 studs, twin K&N airfilters, a BoonDocker System so I can re-program the EFI for better RPM setup and jetting, So without your NOS, i'd say I'm more hooked up. That video was before the NEW runs, more upgrades since then.

  • "Yes its fast, no you cant ride it" LMAO!

  • I thought that sticker fit good right there!

it sounds much better in person, video doesnt do justice.

  • That sticker is awesome, I want one for my sled.

  • Sweet video, that's about where mine tops out. Hopefully I can get a little more when I put the 10.4 clutch on. Those trails are awesome, where are they?
