@Rooboppable obviously accounts still get banned and were getting banned, but the bot nuke was a change in runescapes internal code to make botting not work. as most bots were bots that would use the code to know what items to click and what not. since the update, the code has been comepletely re written and is now much more complex. ive even heard something about it changing monthly or something. so yes, accounts still got banned. but not because of the bot nuke. kthxbai <3

@Rooboppable oh. and the reason theres so much less players is because thats how many players were botters. lots of people only played so they could bot to get their items and stuff. also the reason there is still bots working, is because the bots that are getting made now are screen scraper bots. which means it takes control of your mouse, and has a pre set way of moving, it is basically a pre made VM. so, who is the dumbass now huh?

@Koolkid736 they banned 99% of the botting comunity, keep in mind only 99%... so there's a little of 10,000 bots or so both on ftp and ptp that's why there's barely over 75k people online most of the time.

@Koolkid736 they changed the java code so reflection wouldn't work, but there are still botters nonetheless due to scripters working feverishly. wouldn't you knowing you can sell auths for like 10-20 bucks per? and figuring you could get 100+ people to buy auths through paypal, western union, etc you would make decent money off of it. So yeah there's no way to stop botting if there's someone out there with the right programming/scripting skills to combat jagex's developers.

@l4nc0r reflection bots were pretty much the only bots there was, except for the screen scrapers which were made from people who had no idea how to script. so they are low quality which is why no one used them. this is why jagex said they stopped 98% of bots, as 98% of them were reflection bots. i mentioned in my other comment that yes, bots still work. there is just much less of them since the #1 botting sites dont work anyore.

@Koolkid736 RSbuddy was taken down but there's always other sites to look for but give it a few weeks to 2 months tops the bots will be back in full force, jagex can't compete with the programmers/scripters who want to make money off of RS
