I think it is, since thai girls are "supposed" or expected to be pure and respect traditions more than western people, so it means that even if she's thai she just interested in money, and she just sleep with different guys and stuffs like that...

In the novel, N'ek is also annoying, but not this much. She's just tight-lipped, but she has more reasonable to not tell P'ek the truth. But in lakorn, they cut all about the politic issue out until it's unreasonable.

Maybe I axpected this lakorn too much. This lakorn changed a lot from the novel until it's kind of draggy to me and unresonable. I blame the script-writer. He makes N'ek is so much more annoying than in the novel.
