However they get all that regardless of how well they perform or if they even perform at all. As for Tilikum we have no way of knowing why he attacked Dawn but I don't think he intende to kill

Thousands of people want to work at Seaworld. There are painful tests that have to be taken to become a trainer, as you would have to hold your breath regularly for far more than 60 seconds, and aside from the thousands of people who are getting their degree in marine biolodgy to become a "shamu trainer", how many jobs do you think exist? There are less than 20 people in each park that work with the orcas and I think none of them worked so hard just to give up their job to you or anyone else.
you cant be an orca trainer forever, and people who actually go to school to become a shamu trainer, just means they are dedicated to what they want to do, some will make it, some wont, its not up to you to tell them what you have to do to become a trainer. if they are so interested, well then they should already know

Orcas have a dramatically decreased life span in captivity. I have spent a lot time in Puget Sound & a majority of the orcas are over 50 years of age. Not to mention, they aren't getting vet care/being hand fed - this is how long they live naturally! According to Marine Mammal Inventory Reports, orcas in captivity live an average of 20 years. I can hardly see how 20 years is more than 50 or 60 years. Plus, in captivity, they are removed from their pods, which they stay with for life in the wild
