arrrrr....was searching the sonny terry version and i found this shit...ahahahahahahahaha..totally ridicoulous....HE was born to sing the blues..not charlie patton or robert johnson oh no...He was born to sing the blues..and the guitar...in the 1957...he sing the blues...best bullshit ever
My father Jim Minor published Conway Twitty on Mercury records. Does any of your Mercury Conway records have Mayflower publishing or music on them?. Dad told me he had Conway on Mercury for two years along with Narvel Felts and Jimmy Edwards (Love Bug Crawl) all published by Mayflower music of Flint, MI. Please help anyone.
I have not found the other version of this song as yet on 'You Tube'. I have the rockier version of this song as well as the one you have put up here, but I only have them on vynal.
Thanks Angel, I'm I to understand the second song didn't tickle you fancy? It was the "A" side but I favor the "B" side. Which is why a recorded it first. Although there is some nice sax work on the "A" side

There was a more rock & roll inspired version of this song done by Conway. It did not have the vocal backup singers.
