Hardcore is much harder than whatever this is. you survive for about 3 seconds if you arnt in cover in hardcore.

You don't actually shoot skorge, your just simple wasting health cause he'll shoot you back.

I've beaten him on Insane, all you have to do is take cover when he's shooting (don't shoot back), dodge the falling pillars, ink grenades and those falling rocks from the ceiling.

Make sure you take cover when he's shooting.

Um, no. Skorge has more speed, yes, but RAAM is stronger. This is evident by him carrying a Troika minigun at the end of Gears 1-- in one hand, even. Skorge can't even beat humans in a chainsaw duel, nor does he have the Kryll under his control. I never saw Skorge pick up a COG Soldier and gut him with little trouble. All I saw him do was cut through a tank, which the chainsaw did the majority of the work for that. With his speed, he could be a little annoyance to RAAM. Otherwise, he's a joke.

well, it could go either way. i mean, skorge has speed, a gorgon pistol, ink grenades, a kantus's ability to command locust, a hydra (the rhino reaver) and especially a double chainsaw bladed staff that can cut through anything. but raam has a bulk appearence but slow(i'm guessing the strongest foot locust soldier), a large knife, brute strength, the ability to command locust into battle, kryll (he uses them as a shield and an attack force), and troika turret. if u ask me, either could win

You take the boomshield in with you, from one of those Maulers you kill just before you get to the throne room,

You don't start with it equipped though. After you do the first chainsaw duel, you can pick it up behind you.

The Hydra, the final boss from act 4 was pretty hard to be honest, as well the big fish and the worm were pretty challenging to do (at least, I did the hardest mode from the beginning, depends ofcourse which mode you took)

Raam was so much better, that battle on insane was an actual challenge. There is no way of dying in that boss fight. Not only that the ending of the game was terrible. Game was awesome but there some real let downs that they just dropped the ball on.

When you are fighting Skorge you lose your damage (the red gear) when you're in the chainsaw battle.

When you are fighting Raam there's not a single moment to relax.
