I like this song. The video is odd but kind of awesome. (Not as good as the "Kate" one ;) ) They were so young! But seriously, Robert? Go get a haircut child.
Oh my goodness.... this is a classic example of "screw the studio, we're just going to do something stupid and have fun with it." It's certainly not the best music video they could've put together for this song. But it's damn funny.
My oh my, I remember hearing/seeing this for the first time here in the UK on The Chart Show on a Saturday morning and loving it immediately. Lovely Stuff! 8-)

There are a lot of videos before and after this that make sense and work well with the song...unfortunately this video and song dont mesh. If you listen to the song content you'll realize that the wild west theme has NOTHING to do with what BFF is talking about.

And maybe the cowboys and outlaws in such represent that in way I guess being unruly and all. And they're all in the bar fighting and whatnot. It's really weird that these guys were popular when my band instructor was in high school. Now he gets to hear me and my friends talk about Ben Folds and Ben Folds Five! He's surprised that people still know of them.
