Graves is fascinating in other videos (Dig up her bones) but here tuneless. He's best with a strong melody and emotional, dark lyrics that make sense to him. And (at his best) he has a brooding romantic appeal. Though, maybe he enjoys mindless shouting where you can't make any sense of his voice, which can be gentle and creepy.
