  • Hi Mike! xoxo

  • Mike Rowe is an annoying spokes person for Ford.

  • Hi Mike, its Monty! I am doing fine, thanks for asking! You have MY Vote! Infact, I'm a proud owner of 2 F-Exp and planning to buy another in December. Gotta run now > go a dirty job to do up in the attic this Saturday morning (lol)...Love your REAL self...Take care dude, bye bye Montrose

  • Why doesn't Mike run for presidency?? I'll fund some of it...or I'll work for free! :)

  • nice he's where the northwestern hat that he got from sig and edgar from deadliest cacth after the catch.

  • ford and gm need to go back to the root of what a truck is , not effing independant suspension of fancy plastic body part i use to own the first explorer and a 78 suburban and i beat the crap out of these truck but today i would not spend a dime on the plastic thing call suv of today

  • Mike Rowe is paid by Ford to say good shit about their shitty cars....he even admitted in one of the commercials he doesnt know shit about cars.....HORRIBLE advertising there bud!! lmao!...you really expect someone who knows absolutely nothing about cars...but only reads a cue card, to influence car sales?..HAHAH! Mike, stick to shows...not car commercials...

  • @coandcaiv Ford is so shitty that they told Obama to shove his bailout offer and Ford has come out on top of the GM and Chrysler. Take your own advice I'd say.

  • @bitethedevil Ford accepted 5.9 BILLION dollars in D.O.E. loans. Thats $ 5,900,000,000.00 dollars !!! " It wasnt a bailout. It was a loan" 5.9 billion in tax payers money no matter what you name it. Wake up man. Theres a real world out there where Ford cars are shit and imports last a long long time all the while getting great gas mileage and retaining their resale value. If Ford really cared about U.S. then they wouldnt be on the tv every day lying to us about how good their cars are.

  • @Stylensky you act like no other imports have needed bailout money. your just another typical camry driving douchebag who has no experience with american cars and has no clue as to what theyre talking about. i want, no better yet, i challenge you to prove to me that toyota and honda are so much better than ford. Im waiting pussy lets hear it.

  • dear ford you killed the explorer what next its brother ranger and you could make suvs better by putting the four wheel drivbe set up on the floor i belive you call it the floor mounted four wheel drive ,and on your 2000 ford evplorers your crappy four wheel drive system sucks it did then still does thumps up if you all think so to we ford guys need to fix ford = fucking old retarted designer

  • dear ford you killed the explorer what next its brother ranger and you could make suvs better by putting the four wheel drivbe set up on the floor i belive you call it the floor mounted four wheel drive ,and on your 2000 ford evplorers your crappy four wheel drive system sucks it did then still does

  • @MegaCramer1 wow your stupid if your telling them that 4wd was ruined by moving the floor mounted pain in the ass lever, to a switch in the dash. your retarded go away.

  • You are one of those people that, if a better mousetrap is finally built, you still like your old mouse trap, and nothing anyone says or does can change your mind, and I accept that, my grandmother is like that too, then again, her 82nd birthday was yesterday.

  • Read Motortrend's long term article on their Town & Country, I think it was red 2008 model, it's probably still posted up there, embarrassing how a $35k machine began to rattle with so little mileage on it. The driver used cereal bars from her kids to squeeze between the spaces in the DVD screen console to quiet them.

  • Also, when you start to talk about cars getting fixed in bays and whatnot, unless you know the exact maintenance history of those cars getting fixed, your not in a position to talk about why they are in there. Everyone I know that has a Toyota and does their periodic maintenance never has a problem with things like parts falling off or squeaks and rattles, but I am sure that somewhere in the universe there has to be a Toyota that is fairly new and has some rattles, thought I never found one yet.

  • @gman2000 well see you are wrong..my shop is under contract for towing by the local toyota dealership down the road from me ..thats becuase toyota does not have a truck to do this sort of work ...and doing work for the dealership ..i see first hand what go's on there ...it's sad when a 3 year old corolla is on the lift with the tranny out of it....or a 5 year old Tacoma is getting the frame replaced because of rust in the frame ..or a motor went bad because of oil sludge

  • Respond to this video.i wish i had a $ for everytime i heard some one owns a toyota and no one ever has any problems with them .one of my guys got rid of his f 150 [only] because of fuel consumption ,well he bought a brand new honda accord..needles to say later that day it started to rain and i found his new honda in one of the bays ,i asked why..he reluctantly said..it started to rain and i cant get the dam windows up ,of coarse we all busted out laughing .the car was 16 hours old

  • @390merc65 There's a bullshit story if I ever heard one. Here's a true one. I was at a mall here in NJ and a local Caddy dealer had some models out in the rotunda, people were looking at the cars like WOW look at this Cadillac. I went up to he SRX windshield, the first # on the VIN was 3. I started laughing. The sales guy asked me whats so funny? I said, "You expect people to buy a Cadillac made in Tijuana?" Cars made in Mexico are CRAP. So much for "American cars" There is no such thing anymore

  • @gman2000 see..guys like you cant handle..or wont admit that when you see or hear for yourself that [ANYTHING] can brake down ,,yes..even it if says toyota or honda on it...i dont care if you believe me or not...i love stubborn ppl like you ...a diehard toyota man can be standing at the dealership to get his car fix and even then wont admit something is wrong ...i see we are neighbors ..i live in pa ..maybe you dont get the news down your way ,,,but today toyota had another recall ...i love it

  • @390merc65 Whatever dude, it's a free country, you buy whatever you want to buy. I have to work for my money, and it doesn't come easy for me to burn it by buying shitty products. I also don't smoke or drink or blow my money out one way, to complain about how much money I don't have or how much money my neighbor has. You seem to care about everyone around you but you don't look in the mirror. I don't think i'm the one with my head in my ass.

  • @gman2000 hey ,,thats fine...money doesnt come easy ,,i agree ...well all have to work ...it is a free country and anyone who lives here is free to do or buy what ever they wish...you have a good one

  • Respond to this video...you do realize not all cars or trucks are made out of the states,,right?...so dont condemn all of U'S PRODUCTS...if you own any jap vehicle built here or not..then dont bitch about a U S product being made somewere else

toyota's are so cheap and thro away ...i am surprised they are not sold in walmart next to barbies pink jeep on the rack...or if you look under a toyota that it doesnt say [FISHER PRICE] on it

  • @390merc65 You are the typical backyard mechanic with your "he said, she said" bullshit. I left the "he said, she said" crowd back in grammar school. Show me numbers, show me polls, show me published studies. Doesn't matter what you or I say, everything else is bullshit, Toyota is automaker #1 today (based on volume) meaning that there are more Toyotas worldwide than any other make. Get used to it and move on.

  • @gman2000 i guess motor trend and consumer reports and J D powers are wrong when they say fords quality is as high as toyota or honda...yeah ..your right..what was i thinking..its only domestic brands that brake down..i must be imagining seeing piles of old and new frames for toyota trucks to be changed on 6 year old toyotas...so much for being the number 1 brand ,,get your head out of your ass ...i guess watching the news tonite and seeing toyota is having yet another recall is imagined???

  • Go Acura

  • selling out to a planet killer truck, that is indeed a dirty job. good call Mike Rowe

  • This crappy little Flexplorer can't tow but 5000 pounds. What a joke!!

  • the new 2011 explorer is badass and so in Mike Rowe

  • Mike, luv ya man, but that new Flexplorer is crap and you know it. It's a wrong-wheel-drive unibody joke on wheels. The outgoing Explorer is superior in every conceivable way to this aberration. I guess Explorer fans will have to go to Jeep for the new Grand Cherokee. It may be unibody, but at least it's REAR-WHEEL-DRIVE as God intended, has a real 4x4 low range transfer case, and V-8 Hemi power.

  • @tjhaywood100 You are kidding me with that whole "god intended" crap aren't you.

  • @Roushfan5 Nope.

  • mike, give ford a message for me, THE NEW FORD EXPLORER LOOKS LIKE CRAP! THERE'S NO DISTINCTION FROM THE OLD CAR! MAYBE FOR ONCE FORD CAN MAKE A CAR THAT GETS MORE THAN 40 MILES A GALLON, OR HELL MAYBE THEY CAN MAKE AN ELECTRIC/DIESEL/HYDROGEN CAR.

btw, if someone from ford responds to this by saying "oh we're working on creating new/affordable/fuel efficient/blah blah blah cars" here's what i have to say: YOUVE HAD MORE THAN 10 YEARS TO GET TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW AND THERE IS NO IMPROVEMENT!

  • @ViceWorld they do have one its called the fiesta it gets 41 mpg

  • @hmbam1 that's 1. inflated, and 2. still not good enough, they have an engine called the HP2G engine that gets 110 MPG and gets 400 HP

  • @ViceWorld : I actually like the new Explorer, also the new Grand Cherokee is hot too, of course I would buy neither one as long as there are Highlanders and Sequoias to choose from.

  • @gman2000 I still want my hp2g engine...

  • @gman2000 datta boy...you keep buying from japanese manufacture's when american car companie's make a great product...i am sure that will keep americans working ,,,,i hope your not a person who bitch's about our economy as you drive a japanese car ....if you are out of work..or hungry...eat your import

  • @390merc65 : Well, depends on what model you buy, Toyota has plenty of factories here in the U.S., the Sienna and Corolla are made here by American workers, if it wasn't for Toyota they'd be working the coal mines, or feeding off of welfare or working at Walmart. BMW and Hyundai also have factories here. GM, Ford and esp. Chrysler have dug themselves a grave with shitty products over the last 30 years or so, while Toyota and Honda have actually BUILT a solid rep, go do your research.

  • @gman2000 i think that shit of americans building crap for the last 30 years is a bit over played..i own a 90 grand marquis and a 77 f 150 ..both extremely reliable ..and see?..thats the big problem ..toyota has rode on its prissived rep for so long..almost all americans ate that shit up and to this day wont admit fault,,even when it slaps them in the face...and i dont care what jap vehicle is made here..it is still a japanese built vehicle and profit go's to japan's soil

  • @390merc65 : You know, if I didn't know any better, I'd say you were a WWII veteran. LoL

  • @gman2000 why do you say that ?..is it becuase i am a proud american and work in the automotive field and have towed plenty of [supposedly] high quality toyota's back to the dealership?...drive by your local toyota or honda dealership and look in the service department and you will see plenty of their own kind being worked on,,and not all of them are there for oil changes and washer fluid ..i have always owned fords and i.along with the rest of my family , have always had great luck with them

  • @390merc65: The Asian brands (Hyundai, Toyota, Nissan, Honda) when they build their cars, their specifications are very precise, and tolerances are very small when it comes to everything from frame weld points to the exact torque that has to be applied to the most insignificant bolt. You probably won't believe this anyway, but this comment came from the son of an executive who supplies parts for all the automakers. Toyota, he said, is always one to complain about the quality and engineering of..

  • @390merc65 the parts that they get to put into their cars and trucks, they scrutinize everything to the .00001 measurement value. I can tell you, from experience, that at least Chrysler, does not. You can also thank the UAW for letting their workers fuck around on the job and get away with crap you couldn't dream of in an Asian work setting. But, like GM says, "May the best car win." LoL

  • @gman2000 well we wont talk about chrysler, but anyway ..if toyota has such stringent test's and high standards,,then why is it only toyota at first, buying back their own trucks for frame rust on a 6 year old truck?..then replacing frames?...they can blame dana for that all they want..it is up to toyota to inspect and reject ..or accept any part made by dana ...and toyota passed all of them for production ..TOYOTA.moving forward,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,even when you dont want to

  • @390merc65 Being a tow truck driver doesn't exactly get you your ASE, unless there is a new certification course that I haven't read about.

  • @gman2000 ,,hey..now thats funny...where do you come up with this stuff?..will you be on jay leno anytime soon?...maybe i should have made myself more clear..i should have said rollback ...and to think i do all of this and i dont even own one flannel shirt and i still have all of my teeth ...but i do own a pick up

  • I refused to buy Fords based on the blue oval, that thing has to go. Before buying my new Toyota, I refused to go for a RAV4 or a Matrix because the logo on the steering wheel was a cheap tin cap with a PICTURE of the logo on it. What's wrong with these auto companies, don't they know that a logo speaks a thousand fucking words?? As far as Ford's logo is concerned it should have a portrait of Henry Ford on it as well, make you feel your driving like it's 1914.

  • @gman2000 Thanks, that is the most emotional form of reasoning that I have ever seen with respect to vehicle purchases.

  • @backfiredotca : Funny how ppl beat up on Hyundai for removing the word "Hyundai" off of it's cars, but these are the same ppl that say what you just said with regard to the fact that I refuse to buy a car/truck with an out-dated, banged up logo.

  • Lolz

  • he kinda talks like obama

  • Mike Rowe for President.

  • Fun stuff. Very authentic.

  • grandma has a 2010 explorer. looks so much better than the 2011. the 2011 looks like the freestyle. eeeeeew

  • Yes, Mike Rowe for President!

  • Takea chill pill mike. My nipples are hard just thinking about the new 2011 ford Explorer!!!

  • Hey Mike...quit being a sellout to this pitiful, vile excuse for an auto company. Your talents are being wasted.

  • @sho942000 Whatever's in your head where the brain is supposed to be, please clean it out. It really smells bad.

Ford is one of the most important companies in the history of America. And with the turnaround it has made in recent years, its writing a new chapter of success. Even people who have always hated Ford are taking notice, and at least giving respect. I love that there's enough excitement about a new American car to even have an event like this. Very cool.

  • Ford and Mike Rowe, what a winning combination!!!

    Have fun in NYC MIKE!!!!

    JOEYG

  • Mike you're the best !!!!!!

  • mike is a great guy,

  • Mike Rowe is awesome. Ford Explorer is not. Hopefully the new one will change that.

  • @guitarbrad777 It's called marketing, dude. Glad to see you have developed such a qualified opinion of the car without even seeing the vehicle, all while promoting your disdain for your fellow humans.

  • @guitarbrad777 Or maybe its those of us who are excited to see something new, a real mini-van alternative that's designed for the needs of today's families. Or maybe its those of us who've made thousands of dollars on our Ford stock in the last year and want to see Ford's next move. Or maybe its just those of us who are amazed with the innovation and quality we are seeing from an American car company; some good news about how we can still compete.

  • @guitarbrad777 Or maybe its for people who don't have any other alternative and will just go with what ever they can lay they're fat floppy hands on. Oh and "BTW", i'd say we throw mike rowe down the gutter and VOTE HOWIE LONG FOR PRESIDENT!!!

  • @guitarbrad777 go clean your seeds jr. ,, maybe if you pick your grades up to a D+, mom will co-sign for an old Ford Fiesta when ya turn 16

  • @guitarbrad777 no sir, you seem to care about it enough to watch this 3 minute video and comment. Looks pretty sweet though, no?

  • Funny why there's so much secrecy around the revealing of one of the most boring automobiles on the planet.

  • lolol I love this guy.

  • I LOVE YOU MIKE!!! Shhhh don't tell my husband, LOL! Keep up the great work!

  • грязный парень

  • Mike is awesome!

  • Like the F/V NW hat, Mike.

  • Go Mike !

  • Mike Rowe for president

  • Mike you are just the best!!

  • Mike. You are the shit. Best show on tv. But hell you could make face the nation interesting. Bottom line. Keep it up.

  • What a voice.

  • Working without the 2011 Explorer picture, now that's a dirty job!

  • love Mike, love the Explorer. Mike has to hand me the keys though

  • Mike Rowe, I am proud to have you on our team!

  • Comment removed

  • Plain and simple - You're awesome, Mike. Really enjoy everything that you do and would love to get to sing some barbershop with you someday!! Keep America Singing - and driving Fords!

  • Mike Rowe for President!

  • Mike, what a man, you work hard for the Discovery channel and you bust your butt for Ford. You do what you have too. Sorry for the loss of Capt. Phil.

  • Mike, your awesome, I love the show and I love Ford pretty much making you an amazing guy.
