So notice how they always bounce? It would be cool to see a design where you could manually switch the spring into a shock absorber so as to catch a fall from a high up. This way you can choose whether you want to bounce high off one edge of a cliff to make it across or choose to absorb your landing when you land on a small ledge where if you were to bounce, you would fall off the edge from there.

@mrsupermega hi. yes, you need shoes that fit your weight. i've only seen shoes with minimum weight 70kg+ (150 lbs+), but if you check around there might be shoes made for lighter peeps. gl

it takes a lot of practice and you need to break them in. until you break them in (by just using them a lot) they will feel stiff and solid and hard to bounce high on

The jump height depends on your strength too.

These things aren't power driven, they're driven my you own body power, which means that the higher you can jump without them, the higher you can jump with them too.

i think those guys have been jumping every day for at least a month. Sometimes the elastic spring is not the right. You can change it. It's always the same: If you have done this sport for a while, you want the hard spring back ;)

If money is tight, use ebay. There are lots of cheap kid's pairs from people who begged their parents all year, got it for christmas or birthday or something, and realized they got no skillz. The cheapest pair I have seen was for $250, but kids' pair are probably cheaper. You gotta get some pads too, though.
