The league nowadays tries to bunch together volume shooters with pure shooters. Ray Allen, like Reggie Miller, Mitch Richmond and Dale Ellis are pure shooters. They don't need to be in rhythm to get hot, they have good form, optimal release (some faster than others) and if they DO get hot, watch out. No good defense can stop them on that night. Durant certainly is a pure shooter in the making.
