@gaverion: it is actually kind of funny, because I actually play Starcraft. Not very good (silver league), but I am also still pretty new to rts. Have you played both Warcraft and Starcraft? Could I transition from Starcraft to Warcraft, or incorporate both into my gaming rotation easily? Or is it a huge leap, and will take time?

@JMA698 warcraft is a game serie including many games such as warcraft II, warcraft III, world of warcraft. The Frozen Throne is the newest RTS-type expansion of this serie.

Although being both developped by Blizzard, Warcraft III TFT and Starcraft Broodwar has a huge difference: the first focuses in micro management while the second focuses in both micro and macro. That's why in TFT you can see long battle with full of action: focussing, purchasing and using items, incoming reinforcement.
