  • you're very flexible but you also have to stretch your legs, that's very important. especially as a flyer in a cheerleading team. otherwise the bases cannot hold you easily. i like your scorp but i think your body must be |- like that at a arabesque, niot like that --.-

  • nice work, but don't forget to stretch the other leg too :) looked like you did everything with the left.. I have better balance on my left foot, guess they call it goofy foot in surfing.. but am working on also regular stance. For me, yoga has been great because it works both sides evenly.. rock on.. on that guitar for us next time..

  • if you look in some of the picture, you'll notice your foot and knee arn't in line.. as a dancer i know that if you dont keep them in line, you'll seriously hurt your knees and pay for it when you're older. :/ always think, kneecap and toes in line.

  • Watch out for your knees girl O.o Control them on the way down and lengthen you supporting leg, otherwise you're really gonna pay for it when you're older.

  • thats great! every ones shut up about gymnastics being better then cheer so you have competitions every week who gives a crap! i bet you work alot harder at a practice then a competition. gymnastics don't have to have girls landing on there faces every day. and cheer doesn't have to fall off a beam a bunch of times. they are just different so shut up every one unless your some elite gymnast going onto the Olympics...its just as hard

  • oh gosh this isn't a Nationals individual bid video she is just having fun lol, You should consider acrobatics you would gain an amazing amount of flexibility as well as perfect form in a surprisingly short amount of time, my students who are oing recreational acro are amazed at how quickly they improve. apparently every one commenting is a triple certified judge as well as certified coach, and choreographer............. I think u did great, but yes girl, listen to the people that are telling u to straighten ur kness because I crinched a couple of times when I thought u were going hurt ur knees. Ur right knee looked like it was pointing inside when it should've been pointing straight. Great video and take care of ur beautiful self ;)

  • at :04 and whenever you do those overstretches...you are seriously going to tear your ACL. How it's not torn from that first bow and arrow, I don't know, but you need to build up more strength in the quad to keep that leg straight. Nice flexibility though.

  • you have to straighten the leg you stand on (?). pluuus, on your "pretzel" you have to leen your upper body forwards.andonyour scorpion you have to look forwards instead, because if you look to the side, you will turn you back, so it wont be straight.. and also you should try to place your hands longer down, try to place them on the knee. and im not saying this to be rude, just to help:D sorry for the bad english, im norwegian :p:p

  • straighten your knees! it's not only for the look of it, but for your safety! and your arabesque wasn't really an arabesque, your chest was too far down, almost like you were trying to do a penches. a penches is when your you legs are at a 180 degree angle and your chest/torso is horizontal to the ground. an arabesque is where your legs are at a 90 degree and your chest is as high up as it can possibly go. your chest should not move much when you go into an arabesque. and please point ur feet

  • @Jayme576 i was talking about ballet technique since ballet is the foundation for all dance and cheer, though cheer does change some things differently. having your chest up higher makes it look better and more difficult. if she is a flyer, then i understand that cheerleaders do it for balance, but if she is on the ground her chest needs to be up.

  • I love the way you go into your scorpian! I try at every practice to get something like that, but it doesn't work... I'll just keep working on it! And like everyone else said, that bent supporting knee will make your bases want to drop you. It hurts. :)
