could anyone here explain for us in this side of the world, why everyone in india is mad at him? i understand he was cought with a popular actress, but what does it has to do with his words? his teachings can be proved or not, by trying the meditation techniques he suggests. so what is the problem people over there have?

Hi, first I want to say I'm not Indian, but Iv heard his words first and then heard about the incident. I also do not understand what its all about but I have heard his words and his words are truth even if he is sexually active. They have burned down his ashrams and protested, I think this shows how primitive they are. They learn Vedanta yet act like savages, this to me doesn't make sense.

@colloredbrothers, being a non indian you should first understand what india is and its culture is. If you want to know better read the literature from Swami Paramahamsa Yogananda(Not Nityananda !!!), Swami Vivekananda. Its not a matter of his sexuality its the matter of moral values of an indian. In india there are thousands of swamiji's like him who used to teach lot of morals, but why only this guy was behind the bars and why he is getting so much of opposition. Dont get fooled by him.

I'm not an Indian but I love the vedantic way because I intuitivly see it, what he says is very true and what you say is ignorant. You dismiss his teachings for this one incident, this is not what Vedanta to my mind is about, you are weak minded and do not think for yourself. Provide me a good explanation for what you think because in your comment there is no substance.

@colloredbrothers This guy is one of the big fraud who was behind the bars for many months, thanks for notifying me that you are not indian. India is a land of Vedas and spirituality. Whatever this guy says has been copied from some way or other way. Please not that I am not an ignorant, I have studied Sanskrit for the period of 12 years on which Vedas and Upanishads written. I can do a bettter job than this. I admire you for showing intrest in Vedanta etc but dont get fooled by these people.
