The thing is Carnifex is just an average band. So if he played crazy shit like Blake or Matt, it wouldn't go right with the rest of the band. Don't get me wrong Carnifex rules, they're just not doing anything ground breaking.

Dont get me wrong, this guy can play, but he's not creative like blake richardson,matt greiner,or sam applebaum. he's just using simple thrash beats and simple strait foward blasts. yeah,he's doing gravity blasts,but still not very impressive. just my opinion, i didnt come here to hate,just saw this video and wanted to here how this sounds. no need to call me an ass or what not.

Can NOT be further from the truth. Yes thse are quite standard brutal deathmetal drums, but if you'd watched many of the video's of last year, you know that lately in fact, sickdrummer has put up more video's of just interesting metal drummers instead of just doublebass+blast drummers.

@TaintedConnor It's all about how much time you put into practicing any particular technique. Thousands of hours need to be put into hitting a pad alone. Check out Travis Orbin and Hannes Grossmann; they both have pretty awesome and different types of technique. Both are very clean, especially Travis.
