  • Oh god, I can't escape the fucking zetgeisters and rbe dupes. They are everywhere like roaches when they come to force me into their perfect system, I will die killingbthem.

  • Technocracy sounds pretty good right about know, power residing in people who actually know what they are doing, instead of a bunch of wack jobs from right off the streets.

  • Long Live Technocracy. Down with Capitalism, search for "Introduction to Anarchist Communist Technocracy" Cult of reason ftw. Technocracy FTW.

  • Bring stasis and order to the universe. Predictability brings safety. Once all is discovered and all is known, Unity will be won.

  • *facepalms* What's with all the discussion of real-world politics in the comments section of this video? The video is meant to portray a faction from a roleplaying game (World of Darkness) called the Technocracy, not to make a political statement. And the WoD Technocracy has absolutely nothing to do with real-world groups using that name. Its fiction, people.

  • This is a sad interpretation of Technocracy no doubt lending to the fear. What about the ACTUAL real life horrors of price systems and its masters the Rothschilds?

Being afraid of using science to break free of their iron grip is just what they want.

All price systems are incapable of dealing in an age of abundance and must enforce artificial scarcity and planned obsolescence. One must understand these concepts as they are crucial to understanding a science based democracy.Energy is free

  • In the 23rd century, there will probably be some type of Social Technocracy where technology gives us all free food, water, housing, clothing, everything and anything you can think of, and the use of money won't exist any longer.

Until then though if the world doesn't end soon, there will be more wars, more conflicts, genocides, famines, and death.

  • You know, everytime my old players asked me what a HIT Mark was, I basically had to sum it up as "a Terminator with its own integrated weaponry". They were scary bastards, too. My old troupe had a Wendigo Ahroun who went Crinos and soloed a HIT Mark, and the Wendigo BARELY won.

  • Our troupe also played a Technocracy party at the same time (a crack team hunting their other characters; what a concept, eh?). And even though the Void Engineers are the Technocracy's black sheep, the player with the Capoeira-fighting, laser-pistol-packing, spookbusting Void Engineer soon ended up leading the team. And they razed an entire Pentex subdivision (and killed and captured scores of fomori) soonafter.

    Good times. :-)

  • I hope this doesn't really happen that would be sooo boring have words like Snake,Traitor,Coward,Deception,Deserter repeated to me every day. But what would Programmers and Scientists and Engineers want who according to wiki are the rulers in a technocracy? They probably want the best equipment. So probably they will raise the taxes a bit because they want the latest and greatest stuff. But then again they probably would just take the funding out of the military and that's enough.

  • @EricNyhmfan If you knew about technocracy you'd understand there is no taxes.

  • @newb2yutube No. No taxes. It would just look like the old film Metropolis. A majority of humans living lax while a minority slaves away building and maintaining machines. Anarchists and actual socialists will never let engineers control the means of production. After socialism replaces capitalism engineers will be democratically used to provide abundance but no authority will be given to them. If you actually read Marx anarchism under total abundance was the end goal of communism.

  • Though I must say that capitalism and democracy have many faults they are certainly better then socialism. At the time we must accept greed and capitalism since without it there would be no comment or frankly the computer that goes with it on your desk. Man's lust and desire for more then his current situation has fueled system of creation and creativity that has brought us out of the stone age. Though technocracy will be needed in the future of the world we will have to tolerate capitialism.

  • Read the official books of : "Demon" ull realise how important is the Technocracy Paradigma to protect the earth.

  • fucking christian shit ! technocracy is the ONLY future we have.

everything else like religion and NWO would destroy the hole world.

  • OK, first, this is a tribute to an RPG. On I very much doubt the Chrstians aprove of. Second, a true technocracy would be as nightmarish as a fundmentalist police state. Either way personality is crushed under dogma. You mentioned the NWO. Now, that is a fantasy in real life, but it's notable that in the aforementioned RPG the NWO are part of the Technocracy.

  • Would the Venus project be considered a type of technocracy?

  • Sorry but the problem why we'll never see a true Technocratic solution to government and the current economic system, is because "Greed is still Good". Greed and self interest over others undermines science and understanding, even to this day.

That is why people smoke and litter, don't recycle, pollute the environment, and just don't care for the future of this planet.

  • I can see Iteration X, the Progenitors, the NWo and even the Syndicate there, but no love for the Void Engineers?

  • I would have loved to put in the Void engineers, but I couldn't find anything that really fit with both the Engineers and the mood I set with the video.

  • That's fair enough. The Engineers always came of as the comparitively nicer Convention anyway. Though that's like same the comparitively nicer chest wound...

  • @hunternwo The movies that comes to my mind is Alien II or Starship Troopers.

  • @hunternwo i think star ship troopers and aliens (marines).

  • @hunternwo Event Horizon

  • @hunternwo Anything Alien, either the Nostromo or the marine unit of Alien 2?

  • IF you are truly serious about decency and morality; advocating a world we all deserve, why don't you support the Venus Project?

  • Because the Venus Project is just another top down central government control system based on a scarcity model.

The goals the Venus Project claims are possible but only with a decentralized system where everyone is free to apply their own innovative efforts. Look at the Open Source movement. Projects like BitTorrent have tested the concepts and formulas and it does work. The keep central point is freedom. Freedom to join or leave any collective effort.

I'll post the way to solve the problem.

  • yes, everyone is "free" is the key. NO monetary system will ever afford the world citizenry this....never.

    I know you see this....

  • Actually a legitimate monetary system and a tax system that allows payment in multiple items rather than just one official money is probably the fastest way to achieve abundance and make the monetary system unneeded for most things.

A legitimate monetary system would be no fractional reserve, no interest. This can actually be achieved without the government, I'll explain how in some posts on my blog or in a new book.

Even after survival abundance is achieved there will be other scarce items.

  • You didn't do your research obviously. Please be thorough in researching the V.P. It's not a top down c. gov....you haven't scratched the surface of looking into the V.P. if that's what you came away with.

A monetary system is obsolete. It will create GREED and the same abb. behaviors. You need to recognize this to understand one of the main reasons it doesn't work.

  • V.P. says there will be a central computer system that makes all decisions about production and distribution. That is Top Down Government.

  • Greed is occurs in animals so it can't be caused by a monetary system.

Dogs will fight over an object even when another object that is exactly the same is available. This is same behavior that is the basis of the story about a dog that saw a reflection himself in a pond holding a bone then barked at the reflection and lost the bone in his mouth.

Legitimate pricing (monetary) systems are great for allocating scarce resources, but fail when the item is not scarce. Infinity / Zero = Error

  • No, greed occurs in animals due to "scarcity" in the environment; food, etc...the same as capitalism intentionally creates "peceived scarcity" to make prices go up so to keep it going. Sick, isn't it?

  • As I said and can be demonstrated, animals exhibit greed in the absence of physical scarcity. Greed occurs in domestic animals with plenty of food, water, and toys and even duplicates of the same toy.

Furthermore, humans are often the most likely to share during situations of real scarcity.

There are two types of greed. One is compulsive collecting. The other is denying others ownership. Neither of those behavior have any connection to scarcity. In fact abundance increases collecting.

  • Capitalism, using what you have to make other things or more of the same, is anti-scarcity. Capitalism increases abundance.

There is a problem that happens with a pricing system when prices approach zero. The item has no monetary value. That situation tends to only exist for a period of time between transitions from one technological focus to another. Gasoline was once a waste by product that was thrown away. Someone found a use for gasoline and it then became a resource.

  • That is simply a myth. Capitalism would fall apart without perceived "scarcity" of products, as that is what makes the prices go up, thus abundance is not the end goal. The only thing abundant in capitalism is many different choices and options of poorly made good/products designed to break down usually when the warranty expires, thus keeping "cyclical consumption" going.

Hint: Diamonds are burned to keep the price up, as well as weaponry destroyed to keep the arms purchase lucrative.

  • Gasoline and oil are primitive energy sources but are not discarded despite more efficient renewable resources due to vested interest and profit, despite the environmental concerns.

Capitalism is the very reason criminal behavior such as price fixing, govt. collusion, planned obsolescence and coporate monopolies occur. These crimes effect millions of people, yet established elitist are protected by enacted laws of their choosing while the public looks away, busy with trying to suvive.

  • @blaziermissy I would like to remind you however, though capitalism is not perfect and has its shortcomings it is the best current economic system that exists the world today. In capitalism people can start their own business, choose the jobs they wish to work at, and quit or cancel them without any reprisal from the company. They can live in economic freedom and anyone with enough work and a great idea to rise to the top and make something of themselves, its impossible under any other system.

  • @davedavedaveannoy1 IF we can provide a system that would lend to ending war, poverty, disease and debt, use tech wisely and create abundance and use our energy and resources effieciently and on top of that, provide for an environment that would allow for the Golden Rule to be commonplace ....isn't that what a socio-econmic system is designed for? The people...and the most advatageous human system of interaction? What do you think?

  • @blaziermissy What I'm meaning to say about it is that why can't we try this system? I mean if we have the technology to do this......

Capitalism may be a good system for it's time, but a RBE curtails most all of the problems that result from Capitalism. And if we continue Capitalism, and most of our jobs are in the service sector, and corps automate because it's cheaper than human labor (machines more efficient than humans) where does that leave us??????

  • @blaziermissy Lets face it though, society has shown time and time again that individualism works best. In fact, it has created all that you see around you, every object ever patented and designed was because someone out there saw an opportunity in nature, something noone had thought of before, and then through great will, sacrifice, and investment they made it a reality. If this were a socio-economic system that would all disappear, socialism is a fallen ideal because it simply cannot work.

  • @davedavedaveannoy1 Most of our greatest contributions were not about individualism at all..but the social inclination to better humankind for the WHOLE.

Seriously, a resource based society is NOT socialism, don't you see? It is a progress beyond those isms tried and failed.

I knew you were associating a rbe with socialism or communism. Would you like me to show you the difference so that you can compare and contrast? Say the word...I'll be glad to.

  • @blaziermissy Sure, but its not going to change my opinion, and my perspective will remain the same until I can see a working socialistic system on this earth that functions properly beyond theory and beyond confines of some technocrats mind. Until then my belief is purely in Individualism and Ryanism, nothing but visible unshakable evidence will change that, but by all means, provide me with the "Answers".

  • @davedavedaveannoy1 Whaaaat? Are we back to square 1 again??? A resource based economy is not socialism. Socialism, Communism, Facism, Capitalism: They have much in common and they don't work...they failed. Square 2: Progress throughout humanity is taking the remnants of what does work, compile them, utilize the scientific method for social concern, which has never been done before and voila...something better...not perfect.better..ok? You gauge the success of a system by the problems it fixes.

  • @davedavedaveannoy1 Opinion isn't something to be valued, logic is. And until we run the world on logic, not popular opinion...I'm just saying.

Knowledge isn't stagnate, but constantly updated..therefore sticking with an opinion is...?

  • @blaziermissy Well, you are right, it would be more conservative and a definite means of survival however. The people should have a right to choose, it is there decision, we should not have to choose for them, though it would probably be better for them, but a Republic system has brought forth some of the greatest creations mankind has ever conceived.

  • @blaziermissy don't forget the society is profoundly lied to on a daily basis, especially in ways aided by the military-industrial-media complex (all mass media, something that has never happened before in human history so we aren't familiar with it)

  • @blaziermissy yep busy public trying to survive AND busy mr monopoly still just trying to survive division? ya money.. and now we THE PEOPLE hafta fuckin deal with it again how bout this? SUCK MY MOTHA FUCKIN DICK! use your money to solve your stupid money problem and leave the regular people to become rich instead of bullying through society LOOK AT THAT AN EQUAL MONEY SYSTEM!! FUK EM! TRUTH IT TO THE GRAVE. im rich with their hardcorism cuz they couldnt handle it. you too... LOLZ
  • Huh, interesting, there was an awesome Slipknot song I saw that was about a werewolf the Apocalypse character as a father writing to his son.

    I think.

  • Muito bom mesmo. Veja o meu do Movimento Tecnocrata também. Até mais.

  • I can't rate this awesome vid because of the description is so off the mark. Where did you miss the fact that scientists control nothing except their experimental variables. Money titans - or the politicians whose puppet strings they pull - are the dark forces you must join if you want to run things the way they are. Scientists are by definition, revolutionary, providers of knowledge, the enemy of tyranny.

  • spoken like a ture technocrat man. Do you play the game this is based on? Part of the debate you just brought up is one of the issues addressed.

  • Wo! Game? Have not heard about a technocracy game - unless you speak metaforically, like "games people play." Do you mean a board game, video or online game?

  • it's called mage: the ascenscion. It's a roleplaying game about mages who fight to awaken 'sleepers' to the truth of the world, while the technocrast seek to destroy them as 'reality deviants'. There's much more too it than that, but still. One of the adaptions allowed you to plays as a technocrat.

  • Made of fucking win! GOD I miss old WoD!

  • awesome video, awesome description, but you forgot the three laws. READ iRobot and the Foundation Trilogy by Issac Asimov and you will understand the true nature of what is to be.
