Awesome video! I have a 73 stingray but took out the stock 350 because it was only 190 horse. I put in (my mechanic) a ZZ4-350-355 horse-405 ft lbs of torque. Check out my vette on my page please.

'73 HAD to be modified. Even if it was a stock 454 big block in there. Stock vs stock, the C6 is faster. Still, as a '74 454 owner myself, it's always nice to see the old school prevail.

I'm almost certain that 73 was modified. Anyway, just looking at the to vehicles sid by side shows the C3 corvette is a better looking vehicle. The C3 corvette i the best loking corvtte every produced will always get the first look. I own a 79 vette. Amongst the C3 cars, the chrome bumper cars look the best (69 my favorite). The 73 just looks fater just standing still. I'm glad the 73 won the race btthe reaction time of the drivers also was a deciding factor in this race.

i cant agree the fiberglass or rubber bumper looks like the hottest corvette made 79 is my year and would not trade it for chrome if you want bling stick to those heavy vettes i stick to the all iberglass body now thats a real race car
