I have clients that are on their 15th Thermal.

There are no health risks, as with the Keratin and Brazilian Straigthening.

It is unlike a relaxer, it doesn't weaken the hair , and no breakage In my experience doing Thermal Reconditioning in the past 12 years

It is a perm-it will grow out

It is safe and is not unhealthy to your health as a Keratin

This is the Japanese Straightening system. It is a Thio base formula similar to a curly perm that we have using for years to get straight hair curly.

I've had my hair relaxed since I was 9. I am mixed with black, white,& puerto rican and my hair was always very thick & curly. My grandma didn't know what to do w/ it so she put a relaxer on it to make it "easy to manage" I perm once a mth but now I want to go back to curly. I haven't had a perm in 2 mths now, but there is a HUGE problem. My hair just won't cooperate. I've thinned it and all... Thermal Reconditioning can be done on African American hair if done by a qualifying stylist.

Retouches are done between 4-8 months depending on your hair's condition, weight & length.Hair will not curl up after it's wet. Yes, you can roller set, use a culling iron & it can be done on short hair, but you won't get long lasting results be/c you will notice the roots a lot faster than someone that has long h Thermal Reconditioning results.If you wash your hair it will not

I notice your clients tend to have alot of new growth, and healthy ends that wouldn't require constant trimming. So they are retaining alot of their length, very good salon you have here. =)

@daddyslastgirl Hi There,Please know that this is not a sodium hydroxide relaxer nor the Keratin or Brazilian, it's the Japanese Straightening. Although, we do straighten hair with just the use of a blow dryer & flat iron. Products i use on my clients to get the hair str., shinny & can last up to 2 wks is talked about on the video "How to Shampoo , Condition & Blow Dry Black Hair," with the exception of the serum, I swear by Bio Silk Therapy & The Semi Delino Shine Spray, a great cocktail.

@hairstalent Be sure to wash and rinse thoroughly.Get that hair nice & clean from build up on the scalp and hair. I recommend Nigelle Lx products to help with scalp build up. use a paddle brush, bio silk serum for protection and use Nigelle leave in. take your time blowdrying be sure to dry completely before puting flat iron to the hair. and use iron on small sections slow down the hair shaft and be sure to take the same amount of time on the ends squeeze the plates close together.

Very nice! My niece would love this- she is little and has beautiful long curls but it can be difficult to straighten. What do you suggest for those who do not uses relaxers and texturizers- products to use- like when i blow dry and use my straight iron.
