  • why have you disabled the music?!!! it Kicks ass!! Steven Seagal=Invincible!!!

  • jak jse jmenu jet ta písnička

  • gjfmkloiuzhh ask: What the name of this song?

  • Money for nothing - Dire Straits

  • i wonder why he refueses to use his aikido

  • in this video seagal was phisically perfect now he is too fat

  • It really annoys me that he refuses to use his Aikido in his newer movies. It cuts to the back and theres a stunt man doing an axe kick, the Aikido is far more visually stunning!

  • good video

  • I wish he would make movies like he did when he first started. Now his movies ae hard to watch. He still kicks major ass though.

  • steven seagal rulez !!!

  • I Love Steven Seagal !!!! He's My Hero

  • i love this guy

    my master

  • I don't understand you alvintanhk123, you have a serious problem with Isoyama sensei. But you have made a homage about Steven Seagal witch is a student of Isoyama Sensei, and you can really see that back in Seagal's form.

  • i like steven but he now claims to be a reencarnated lama and is half god.that sounds a little fishy to me.

  • Steven Seagal's Aikido rocks!

  • Awesome job!

  • My ranking: 1.)Bruce Lee 2.)Seagal! Why? Because he´s not only an actor like van Damme and others. He is really a master of Martial Arts. I saw him live in the early years and he is great. Anybody, who tells something different, talks shit!!!!!!!!!!

  • There are millions of actors who really are martial artists. Even van Damme is a martial artist (It's not his fault his movies suck).

But Steven has a unique style, brakeing arms and shit and he allways looks angry. Thats why he is so fucking cool.

  • hmmm yea thats true... Van Damme knows some shit... even Cuba Gooding Jr knows some martial art, dunno the name tho...

  • cool Steven Seagal is mine idol

    go for it steve

  • 7th Dan-he's no B.S. my sensei is a 6th dan and he's also sick. Aikido is nothing to be messing with.

  • A wrestler would double leg this joker and smother him with armpit stink until he begged him to let him get back up.

  • Why does he always win so easy? People want to see a hero STRUGGLE. Hasn't he learned anything from Jackie Chan, Rocky, Jet Li, Clint Eastwood, Bruce Willis? Heroes must get hurt and bleed so audience can EMPATIZE with them!

  • i second that

  • Aikido has a different conzept, maybe that just isen't competible with the usual movie heros. 1.Aikidoka don't want to get hit at any time 2.there is no struggel if you do it right 3. The aggressor should realise that there is no fighting back it's just nutralising their aggressive aktion! On the other hand Seagal isn't much of an Aikidoka most of the time in that sence in his movies, punching back satisfies the ordinary martial arts movie watcher better, so he does that.

  • nice moves man,, i love also playing aikido, great move steve^^,

  • muy bueno refleja todo lo que es el actor y el maraviloso arte que es el aikido.

  • Great job man, Steven Seagal is my idol too.

  • seagal is deff the king at this shit he is one of my al time favs. i use to do aikido but gave up as i had commitments but i really wanna get back into it. i watch all his stuff and i love it.

  • Not really they are both a Korean based martial arts. But you cant really say one is a copy of the other. Hapkido was derived from Daito-ryu-Aikijutsu. Nothing like Taekwondo. Therefore it was not taken from Taekwondo. They have different principles.

  • h37

That's the first time I've ever heard anyone outside my old dojo where my sempai's and i would discuss SS's aki-jujitsu. I spent a while taking aj some time ago and after wandering over here on youtube, i'm getting the urge to take up ma again.

  • I'am a 5th Dan and I teach Aikido-Hapkido, and Steven Seagal is the only person i think who has changed the meaning of Aikido throughout the years......

  • Seagal is not a good spokesman for aikido, he is just a hypocrite who goes through the moves just like he speaks the principles-- but does the opposite.

  • hi alvintanhk

    nice vid

i have seen many vids on here about Aikido

and i can see it is very defensive rather than offensive

i must say too it was awesome to see i was very impressed by what i saw

  • I do agree it is extremely effective...but again not everyone who learns Jeet Koon Do will turn out to be the next bruce lee...

  • I myself practice Aikido, I love how it promotes harmony and not so much violence, like Tae Kwon Do, which is something a lot of people are doing for some reason.

    Steven Seagal is amazing.

  • no this isnt jujitsu, this is aikido, a product of aiki-jitsu, now there is more emphasis on harmony, where Sensei Ueshiba, after the 2WW felt martial arts should change their ideology from fighting to be more in line with Budo and nature, so aikido was created.

I am a 1st Dan and am going to qualify as an instructor soon, so i have quite a bit of experience of around 4 years. If you want to know anything else, just ask.

  • hi,

this is really good, the music and the footage go well together.

    Is this Jujitsu?

  • this is really good, the music goes well with the video footage.

    Is this jujitsu?

  • Hi bokaboka1, the martial art Steven Seagal is practising is Aikido. Its more defensive then offensive. Unless karate, TKD or jujitsu we train in ki and peace.

  • no, steven seagal does Aikido.

  • Jjitsu101 point received in kind. I do believe everyone has a right to believe whatever they want to believe. I also believe that different people has different preference level to the kind of martial art they want to learn. Just like music, not everyone loves pop, hardrock or even country music. Some goes for Jazz some go for classical...by the way Aikido is not a dying martial art, it has seen significant grown in practitioners in the recent years.

  • I have removed all monsterme42 comments and have blocked him from future spamming. I do feel sorry as he is still rather juvenile in his thinking and am still very unenlightened about the true essence of Aikido. monsterme42 you have a alot to learn.

  • After years of training I believe a true martial art can help people obtain a sense of deep spirituality and respect for life, martialarts can lead people in understanding connecting with inner strength and what's needed for selfdefence, the necesseties for self preservation and what leads to it is selfawareness.probably too long a discussion and too long a controversy. If you like the arts with music type in and view martial arts action page
