Words can't describe what I feel when I hear Doc Watson. I have loved his music and humor for more years than I can remember. I'll be sad to lose Doc when his time on Earth is done, but the tradition is in good hands with Ricky Skaggs and Allison Krause. I hope they will keep the flame burning for traditional & mountain music, as Doc has for so many years. It warms this old Southern man's heart to hear some good old traditional music done the right way. It's a lost art.
There will never ever be another performer that has the God given talent of our National Treasure......Doc Watson. He sings and plays from the heart and makes it so easy to relate to words and melodies. I have been truly blesssed to have been counted among his most faithful followers for so many years and growing up a "stone's throw" away from his home.
It's music like this that keeps me up 'way to late watching Youtube videos.
Alison Krauss is a nice harmony touch to this song.

Doc Watson's "Lets go down to the Valley and Pray" has been removed by YT. Allison Krauss must have been 'bought'.??

These 4 might have the greatest number of grammy awards to ever perform together. Great performance.
