Xmas wrapping . Laugh, smile , cry and lost in nostalga......massive fan and heartiest congratulations. Without being creepy or wierd.....thank you! best wishes from a delighted lover of your work. Good onya and keep it up!. Encore !!
Brilliant! If the BBC had any sense they would string parts 1-3 together and make a great Christmas Eve 30 minute programme (on BBC2 or BBC4 perhaps?). I'd watch it. Can we expect to see a 'Christmas Wrapping: Xmas at the BBC, 2000-2010' in the not too distant future.
Nostalgia-o-rama! Really enjoyed this, felt like the video equivalent of unpacking your Christmas decorations and reading last year's Radio Times. *warm glow*
Youtube is basically a nostalgiafest for people born between 1981 and 1991, I only set up an account so I could wallow in childhood memories of cartoons you can't seem to find on DVD or VHS.
Aah the 90s was the best idents. My personal fav BBC2 Christmas day 1991 moon and stars (a trip to the moon). I was fifteen and in love that Christmas or so I thought and it gives me v happy memories.
Thank you for these - truly original. Genius compilation.
Batman the movie premiered on Christmas Day 6pm 1991..cool ident!! ... i was too tired to stay up and watch it ... probibly because i'd been up since 3am playing the computer games Santy Clause left ..yawn!...to be 11 years old again :)
I'm a subcriber to tv cream times who put the link in their weekly mail out. Its brilliant what you ahve done putting them together in a montage, thanks for posting it. I'll be forragibg through my old video tapes to see what I have lurking now. I was glad to see BBC 2 using the same idents this year as I had recorded them last year on my old recorders hard drive, which subsequently developed a an irreprable fault which meant I lost the recording.
Very enjoyable,I never gave them much thought ,it never occured to me how they are works of art in their own right.I will pay close attention to this years.
I liked the lords-a-leaping on spacehoppers!

The 2000 BBC2 xmas ident was re-used for the 2006 winter olympics, not 2002.

I do hope you do the next batch soon. I wish the US would do this for their networks.

Don't any US channels have Christmas idents?
