You cannot tell the difference between an original and high quality replica. They come with the hologram sticker, authenticity card, serial number, etc. Serial # is taken off a real bag, so even if you call to confirm authenticity they tell u it's real because that # exists! I think what bothers me most about designer replica handbags are the people I see carrying them. PLEASE, People! Fakes are a false economy unless replicators can re produce EXACTLY what the genuine brand offers...in which case, the replicators may as well start their own brand which they can sell LEGITIMATELY.
The whole point in this essay is that I wanted to point out that ripping off another brand is ILLEGAL. I just got an authentic Chanel 2.55 Jumbo and compared it with a friends fake 2.55 and technically just by touching it and looking at it, it looks & feels the exact same, the only difference is that I have the registration and serial number which is inside. Your theory about designer handbags having 10 stitches to an inch is not correct.
I have all real handbags and I measured my stitches to an inch with a Louis, Gucci and Marc jacobs and they all had 7 stitches and no they are not fake they were all purchased from boutiques. My Chanel bags however have 10 stitches to an inch.

You cannot tell the difference between an original and high quality replica. They come with the hologram sticker, authenticity card, serial number, etc. Serial # is taken off a real bag, so even if you call to confirm authenticity they tell u it's real because that # exists! Only way these "experts" can tell is by examining the dustbag. Who's walking around carrying the dust bag? lol I had this happen, & experts couldn't tell apart original from replica! And two if you're interested in Chanel you don't want to purchase a fake or knock off. Knock offs always look horrible, it's not about money- you can get a really cute bag for cheap at Tj Maxx or Macys - you don't NEED to drop 1000 for a louis, but a fake louis just looks bad- go for a nice bag doesn't have to be "designer"

I just got an authentic Chanel 2.55 Jumbo and compared it with a friends fake 2.55 and technically just by touching it and looking at it, it looks & feels the exact same, the only difference is that I have the registration and serial number which is inside. I don't understand the stitch thing. My Authentic Louis and Gucci have less stitches per inch...but my Chanel have 9 per inch. So your information is a little off!

and lastly, from people I know and surround with, people who can afford chanel, are also givers to charity and etc...chanel is known for, a status symbol..so whether u can save to buy it or if u can easily afford it, i'm sure if they can buy a chanel, they have money to help others as well. So don't judge a person by the purse they carry. Even if its a fake, we r not judging them, i've seen nurses who makes money & still buy a fake LV. maybe they just don't care obviously.

design being copy and people everywhere are wearing the fake version of your creativity than the original. I know how it feels because I'm a designer myself..and I hate people stealing peoples idea even tho thats how fashion works..i don't mind say LV copies chanel..they're in the luxury business, but i would hate a knock off to sell of a very original design for cheap.

Not only are fake purses FREAKING ILLEGAL, they are wrong. The designers for, say, Chanel, came up with the original designs. The people who make the counterfeits are STEALING the designs and making them with cheap fabrics and sloppy stitching. People will go out and buy the fakes, so the people who spent time designing and sewing the original design get less money. Does that sound right to you??

buy buying fakes, you are helping support 'sweatshop' markets, who use child labour to make a profit (in countries like tailand, china, india, korea, phillipines, indonesia ect), most off these sweatshops that self fake deasigner products, are organised by drug trafficers,sellers, dealers.

Personally, I don't mind if the bag is fake or not, but I really love Chanel, Coach, Louis Vuitton, Juicy, etc. But I mean as long as I can fit things into the bag and it looks pretty, then I will buy from Goodwill, all the way up to Brand name stores. But that's my opinion xD I'm not rich.

The point is she gets a bag that looks almost as good as the real thing for a fraction of the cost. If she doesn't care, so what? It doesn't mean she has no value. Some people can't splurge thousands on just a PURSE. The purpose of a bag is to carry things and if it works for her AND look pretty good at the same time, why not? Yes you DO have to somewhat wealthy to be able to spend money on purses like that. It's called a designer handbag because it's luxurious.

Your theory about designer handbags having 10 stitches to an inch is not correct.
I have all real handbags and I measured my stitches to an inch with a Louis, Gucci and Marc jacobs and they all had 7 stitches and no they are not fake they were all purchased from boutiques. My Chanel bags however have 10 stitches to an inch.
