@mylife7538 actually yes it can, ethanol freezes at approximately at -114°C whereas water obviously freezes at 0°C. However, that hardly matters as most beers are well below 15% alcohol (ethanol) with Corona only being roughly 4.6% alcohol by volume, an effectively negligible amount when considering when the whole solution will freeze

fine, but you don't tell me why it was able to supercool in the first place and didn't just freeze when it was in the freezer.

@polevod The beer didn't freeze because the air in the bottle became pressurized (from the bubbles in the beer). The greater the pressure, the lower the freezing point. So, you have to keep the cap on before freezing. But, it will freeze eventually with it on.
