@AmnitRonX The music has been released through torrent sites and through my website, also YouTube has a bunch of them up as well. The game cannot be released as if it is, I get sued. If you want to see what it looks like, all you need to do to see what's been done is search up "Chrono Resurrection Playthrough" though.
@tssf thanks!!! hey, is there any way that you could post videos on how you revampt the music… like step by step sowing how you did it instead of telling us a little bit of what you did?
@Gtsugaru Possibly. I need to find my external hard drive and then upload the raw video renders up to YouTube, but that won't happen for a while as I do not have a computer to do it on.
I wish another great game company picked up this project and made billions off it. This franchise could be as big as FF, with a proper sequels and not the experimental process they chose with CC.
Regardless of the feelings were of both games, both hoist two of the greatest game soundtracks of all time.
No kidding man. I used to sit and wonder why oh WHY Chrono Trigger was never continued as a franchise... I think it could be BIGGER than Final Fantasy. This game is beloved by so so SO many people, and I know that I'd give BOTH of my kidneys just to be able to play a proper sequel.
hey Tssf what ever happened to the N64 port of Chrono Trigger your vids talk aobut was it another canceled project like Dinosaur Planet (would've been a Prequel to Star Fox Adventures)?
It hurts my brain to think about how awesome this game could have been, and how lackluster SE's response was to those CT fans who have been chomping at the bit for 14 long years to remake this with a sliver of the vision your team put forth. I commend you all.
lol indeed. I'm shocked that YouTube didn't put a little "High Quality" option on this... but I find that just adding "&fmt=18" at the end of the address from the "&" bit brings up the audio quality tremendously. I spent two hours listening to this again that way and now I can hear in stereo! ^^
I just realized what you meant: Yeah, I made the CT64 music with a 512k file size limit. That meant all the sample / music data could not exceed 512k or MikModN64 would not load/play the music in memory, so yeah I was constrained in that regard.
Hey, I'd like to ask you where you get your sound samples from.
I've got ideas for my own music, but don't have a clue where to get the exact instrument samples I'm looking for, such as a certain type of guitar and a certain sound from the 70's as I'd call it, no idea what it's called.
Look for soundfonts and convert them from SF2 to WAV, and import them into Impulse Tracker. Programs like AWAVE can do that, or simply play the SF2 back and record them to WAV yourself, etc.
Is there any way you could release what you were able to make to the world? since it may never be finished… or at least the music...

@chosentonessournotes You can't live without at least one kidney. Might I suggest offering a kidney, a spleen and an appendix instead? :p

@RylasIX I didn't really like Chrono Cross but Chrono Trigger would of been a great hit! It was voted the best RPG in the world no doubt!

I didn't understand the "keep YouTube from destroying my stereo sound." why?
Marceltcm 3 years ago
If the video has too much detail, etc, the audio and video will be screwed up very bad sometimes.

Can you please do a Lavos Core remix (no Zeromus, just Lavos Core only)? Great work!

You were using old Impulse Tracker?
Very leet... but I prefer Modplug Tracker.
PrekiFromPoland 3 years ago
I still use Impulse Tracker to this day. ;) I prefer it over ModPlug myself. But then again it's because I'm very old school.

I would have loved playing the game at least one more time with this awesome soundtrack, AND in 3-D, and being ten times as epic.
