I can't beat Touhou 11. First boss is easy, I gain a life, then Parsee steals a life or two, I might get a life on the third stage mid-boss, third boss leaves me with no lives and maybe 1 bomb. Fourth stage murders me. That's what happens on normal, too.

Yeah and some people complete it on lunatic with 5 lives left. That wasn't my point. I wasn't boasting, I was celebrating. I'm glad you can, but was that your first 1CC? Or did you never have any such difficulty? A 1CC on easy is nothing special overall, it was the journey to get it that really mattered to me.

The first 1CC certainly is quite the achievement, I don't think I've ever felt excitement remotely close to what I felt when I was dodging bullets, listening to Border of Life, knowing that I would absolutely beat her if I kept it up.

In that regard PCB probably was the most fun I've had so far, especially because of the really nice stage and boss themes.

The Resurrection Butterfly is absolutely beautiful - the gradation of final Border of Life and ferocity of the attack waves.... damn, the feeling of first 1cc really is something.
