  • I just shat my pants

  • Metriod.. a awesome series of games they have :)

  • nobody tries hacking old pdas, maybe gba can be run on them.

  • does this work with the trackpad version?

  • @Mrkeyandlock All versions work with the clickpad, but only newer versions (which are slightly hard to find) work with the touchpad.

  • how can I get pokemon on it? i have never done this and I don't want to brick my new ti-nspire

  • Yeah i agree this is the begining of a new era hehe playing gameboy games on a math test, without having the teacher suspecting of anything :)

  • @guily6669 Sadly this might never be possible on the new color models, though. I think I read a post somewhere talking about it. From experience, I think they'll figure it out, but it will take 3 years, like it did for Ndless 1.0 to come out. I hope you got a Nspire with black and white screen and OS 2.0.1/2.1.0 on it so you can play games.

  • @DJOmnimaga tks 4 the info. But my bro has i think that a color CASIO, which is what im gonna use :(

  • @guily6669 Ah ok. If it's the new fx-cg10 or 20, eventually there might be more games for it, since unlike the Nspire, it is not as locked down.

  • Get Pokemon on there. :D

  • why dont you just buy a gameboy, ya cheap ass

  • @drawslasha teachers usually don't let you use gameboys in class -.-

  • @krismania1 I think he's just trolling. For some reasons the video was recently hit with a bunch of anti-calc-gaming ones so I just ignored them.

  • @DJOmnimaga

    silly trolls :P

you can at least know you made school a little easier for me :D

  • @drawslasha maybe because we want to play games during a math test.

  • maths is more important!!! then these silly games

  • @BamitZzU tell that to the hundreds that learned how to program on a calc and now have a high paying job due to it. Yes math is important but it is not more important then other things. yes its a game but he learned how to program not just by math alone.

Its these silly games that get your foot into the door of programing that can lead into much higher things.

you can call these games silly all you want but i think by doing that you are missing the whole point.

  • @madmax2069 Don't worry, either he's just trolling, or he's from TI-Nspire Google Group or Casiocalc. org (which both have plenty of calc game haters)

  • @DJOmnimaga I guess that just goes to show you how closed minded they really are. when you really think about it that is really sad.

  • @madmax2069 Yeah true. I remember I got a lot of them on my Omnimaga 7th anniversary Tribute video back in 2008. Someone was claiming that calc programming was a waste of time, which isn't true, considering certain people got into computer programming with the help of their z80 assembly and even TI-BASIC knowledge.

  • Warning. This does not work on the Cas w/ touchpad. No hack for it jsut yet.

  • QUESTION

will you still be able to use the caculator to work out equations.

    plz relpy

  • Nice! My cousins piece of crap birthday present is good after all

  • I did some digging and TI-Nspire Touchpad (both CAS and non-CAS) does NOT work with the Ndless as of 1st Novemeber 2010. Lets just hope they update it soon enough =)

  • @nrojb123 Hey have you found out if the TI-Nspire Touchpad work with Ndless as of now 24/1/11?

    Thanks

  • Not so long ago, they came out with a TI-Nspire with a touchpad (no not a touchscreen, a touchPAD), which is featured as a darkblue/light grey non-CAS version and a black CAS version.

They also changed a lot of buttons on that one so would be nice to know if this works for that too =)

  • 'Like' great song :D

  • i have the dark blue one, does it make a difference?

and where can i DL these games? or any games?

  • @amazing0187 I thought there were only light blue, gray and black TI-Nspires? O.o

Those games can be googled (search for Game Boy and Game Boy color ROMs) and the emulator is available at one of the links in the description (as well as Ndless)

  • ndless 2.0 is coming i dont know when.. I'm still looking for a ti nspire os 1.1... if any of you guys have it comment or pm me

  • does this work on a ti-nspire CAS (with touchpad)

  • @theamazingempiricist not yet. Once ndless 2 comes out it will (watch ticalc.org)

  • where can I get the ti-nspire (no-cal) OS 1.1?

  • this is so ironic. if dj could see a few months into the future he would know that the 2.1 os doesn't allow any downgrading below os 1.6. the title should be changed to 'oh shit they're stopping us now'. sadly, i fell into the category of uninformed ti users and following my os upgrade i did a little research and found all this out. i was pissed at first knowing i would never use ndless but then i found out i needed at least 2.0 os to run my cas touchpad. well whatever. hoping for ndless 2.0...

  • @echristian406 If you get a clickpad keypad and put it on your touchpad Nspire you can actually downgrade to 1.1. If you got 2.1, you need to install Nleash from ticalc.org, though, to break the anti-downgrade protection.

Still, I hope for Ndless 2.0. Seems like TI decided to fight the community like Apple did with iPhone jailbreakers.

  • oh my gosh! Thats pure AWESOME!!!!

  • It's just a TI-83 with CAS. No 3D grpahing or Differential Equations Graphing. Definately not for Calculus students.

  • when'll this be ready for the nspire w/ touchpad? ie: os 2.0

  • How do I get the nintendo games once I install ndless?

  • @heromiles Make sure to install gbc4nspire, found on Omnimaga or Ticalc websites, first. Then Google for some Gameboy or Gameboy Color ROMs and append .tns at the end of the ROM file names.

  • How do I get this on my TI-Nspire? Tell me how to do it.

  • love this dj thanks :D

  • i dont this this would work on the new cas would it?

  • dam i upgrade my ti nspire to 2.0 how can i get it back to 1.1

  • i have a TI-nspire, but just with TI-84 plus keypad, i cant open mirageos, it restart the calculator, what i can do??i want to play on mi calculator!!

  • y couldnt this be for TI 84 too?

  • @lolitylols A Gameboy Color emulator is way beyond the TI-84 Plus capabilities. Just a regular GB one runs at 4x slower speed than normal, even if it was coded by one of the best TI-84 assembly coder.

  • @DJOmnimaga

    it was a rhetorical question...

    (Yeah and Brendan Fletcher ROCKS!)

Might borrow my friends old Nspire, he uses an 84 now and says hell let me borrow his Nspire... I miss pokemon crystal b/c my parents threw out all my video games and im banned from video games... I MISS CRYSTAL IT WAS THE BEST!

  • @DJOmnimaga

    2 MONTH NECROCOMMENT!

I know that DJ know, but for the rest of you, there is a thing called TI-Boy

It may or may not work on your calc....

  • @lolitylols The only difference is CAS.

  • @ToxicOdiousOne

yes but that one difference is a big one isn't it? :(

    i want an nspire now

  • AWSOMWWWWEEE This is amazing!!!

  • The next best gaming device :P

I am gonna get one so badly....(this is non CAS right? does that even matter?)

  • wow TI - Nspire is like a big gameboy advance

  • teachers can never find out that we play games in school now WOOT!

  • hey, can u make a video showing step by step how to install ndless and all the stuff needed to make this work? im so confused on how to get this to work. ive been trying for so long and searching but theres no info i can find on how to install this stuff.

  • IT WOULD BE ALOT BETTER IF THESE CACULATOR HAVE SPEAKER XD

    lol

  • is there a place that we can download those alpha nspire apps?

  • I am so gonna buy an Nspire now!

  • also, what's the story behind the 3d mesh stuff at the beginning? Is that another program for the nspire in the works?

  • Calc84maniac from Omnimaga worked on this around Christmas time, but unfortunately, the project has been dormant for the past 3 months, as he's now focusing on a new TI-83 Plus Super Mario clone better than the one on TiCalc website. He told me the 3D stuff is not dead, though, he just tend to switch from a project to another of his 5 or 6 projects

  • Gentlemen, this is a great day for nspire users everywhere. We have reached the final frontier.

Shame I can't get it to work on mine but I'm geting there

  • i tested it

    but the problems are:

--when u switch off the calculator, u cant turn it on again( u have to take off the batteries and put them again)

--compatibility to other documents... u only can open 1.1 files(cuz the version of the calculator is 1.1)

--shit!!! my batteries last 1 week

  • Does this work with the new OS v2.0?

  • I think so, but not with the computer link 1.4, downgrade to 1.3

  • ooops i mean from 1.4 to 1.1 :( 1.1 sucks...

  • @noblessus unfortunately, not. The developers are working on getting a new version for os 2.0.

  • Wow omnimaga! Nice work! Thank you ExtendeD and geogeo for you nice work! Also, thank you calc84 maniac for being a part of this!

    ~Snake X

  • I'm running it now, it's great! I just want a compiler for code since I like coding!

  • k i got it now im just wondering how to get the emulated games for it

  • Unfortunately, on my site I am not allowed to provide ROMs, but if you search french TI websites, TI-BANK has some GB/GBC ROMs and google will find you other results if you be careful.

Once you got a GB or GBC file, add a .tns extension at the end of it then send it to your TI-Nspire along with the emulator. Unlike the TI-84 Plus GB emu, the Nspire one requires no modification of the ROM files besides changing the extension.

  • *has orgasm*

  • lol, had this for a while now...

  • is this working for the nspire keypad or only the ti84+ cause that looks sick i wanted mario on my calc lol

  • It works on both the TI-Nspire and TI-Nspire CAS models (though the GBC emulator doesn't support using the 84+ keypad yet anyway)

  • This is so awesome kevin... I need to buy one soon, so I can start making games for it. I need one for college anyway.
