I think it's a significant design flaw when a game constantly leads you to believe that it will tell you when you get a new ability, but refuses to do so on the one occasion, where you need to use that ability right away to survive. It just seems like a big "fuck you" to the player, who wouldn't know unless they checked the inventory.

Obviously, the player should know that power bombs would work, but they don't even know they have the ability, and have only used them once in the tutorial.

How do you do the barrell roll like that to dodge? Right when they are about to attack do you simply move?

@Cashmoneyallstars there's a interactive scene where the queen opens her mouth, and a grapple beam icon comes on, you go inside the stomach and thats when you can use power bombs.

@tmille69 Just like you hold 1 to charge your beam, you can do the same in morphball mode to create Power bombs; after Adam destroys Sector Zero, you can perfectly use them.
