Testing the Flip MinoHD Camera

not sure if you're responding to the lack of the "HD" button or not. but so that no one else is confused, you definitely do not need a separate cable to upload in HD, just to plug into your TV

I don't get it, when I was first uploading from my MAC , wirelessly with a horrid connection I was getting some HD on youtube. Now it seems no matter what I do I don't even get HQ quality on youtube. What's up?

WIth the old software for the Flip when uploading to YT they wouldn't be in HD. I think that is fixed now. I always had to upload from Youtube to get HD.

Ok, let's have a lesson in common sense. I will try to make it as easy to understand as possible. So, some youtube videos have an HD button and some videos have an HQ button. Are you following so far? Now if you click on those buttons, the HD quality will be much better than the HQ quality. Still following? The HQ videos are just a higher quality, with less compression from uploading. The HD videos have better sound, and if you have an HD display, much, much better quality.

No, when you upload it's automatically in HD (both to your computer and to youtube).

THE Zi6 is better and clearer and HD and just a little bigger its what I use Google "Kodak Zi6" it beats the Flip by a long shot and You use an SD Card and Take pictures and if you need to record in VGA!
