Sprint has crappy service I wanted to try there coverage and phone and it sucked I was roaming most of the time what the hell is that well I came back to do far the best carrier AT&T
Now sprint is data capping wifi tethering to 5GB. Not that anyone is stupid enough to pay the extra $30 a month when you can just root your phone and do it without them knowing, but it' is the dreaded snowball effect.
Now sprint is data capping wifi tethering to 5GB. Not that anyone is stupid enough to pay the extra $30 a month when you can just root your phone and do it without them knowing, but it' is the dreaded snowball effect.
Hmm depends on your area I had sprint and was disappointed in there data speeds I've raced lot of evo's and my iPhone actually beat them in speed test and rendering speed on Internet
Truly unlimited I don't think so you use minutes to call land lines so it's not unlimited nice try sprint!!! The have to give you unlimited data because they have the slowest 3G
@MOSHIDOSHI you get 100 favorites, which you can use for land lines, also, they have 4G unlike AT&T and about being slow, i dont think so, my friend and his evo beat the shit out of my at&t iphone 4
Can't wait til my Att contract expire bc I'm going with Sprint!I love smartphones! And you can't have unlimited data with tmobile and verizon. I hope sprint won't change there plans liKe the others neitHer no time soon.
Verizon has officially said that those with unlimited smartphone data can keep it when they upgrade.
I have the $30 unlimited plus $30 UNLIMITED tethering/hotspot. I've used 10GB this month on my 4G Thunderbolt. I think I'm getting a way better deal than Sprint because their coverage is really bad in my area.
@ness1785 yeah i agree with you sprint have the best data plans, i heard verizon changed there data plans because they are tryna compete with at&t . i believe alot of people will be switching from verizon once their contract is up.
@TylerWinchester right now you pay $30 for unlimited data, but whens its time to upgrade / renew your contract then you want have unlimited data anymore, verizon changed the data plans on 7/6/11
@fishcomputer33 I just got Virgin Mobile last month too, and I hate that. I found it funny how I read about it the day after watching this ad, considering that Virgin Mobile's a division of Sprint. I'm grandfathered into the $25 plan, so I guess I really can't complain that much since I'm paying $25 for 2.5 GB/300 minutes/unlimited text instead of $70 for the same thing and 450 minutes with Sprint, or even $40 for unlimited everything (including minutes I barely use) with Metro PCS...
@Zachnorn Yeah you're right. And Metro PCS isn't in my area and in fact I've never even heard of them o_o. Its kinda like cricket when I used to live in NY.
@badassguy16 Verizon sucks its expensive as HELL! I have att and that shit is expensive too $15 PER smartphone PLUS u only get 200mb that SUCKS. If you want 2gb its $25 PER PHONE. Say you have 4 people u want all smartphone $100 for DATA ONLY?
Sprint is $170 unlimited everything for family of 4. Awesome.
Jawgks1: i have ed 450 plan..it includes unlimited calling to any mobile on any carrier at anytime! Nights and weekrnds at 7 pm! Those minutes are just for landlines..cause u can call a cell phone anytime..soo the 450 minutes get used..for landline only..only problem..hardly Nyone has a landline..i only used 13 minutes last month to call my bank and pizza hut..to order pizza! Unlimited text..i average 1000 txt a month..but the part is DATA..I REALLY AVG 20 GIGS A MONTH!
Well at least they have real unlimited available. I personally would stick to a desktop for internet and a cellphone for making cellular phone calls. I don't want to spend a bus ride squinting my eyes reading text on a tiny 5" screen or taking a 1000 photos and uploading them to facebook everyday.
I am a Verizon customer with unlimited data, but I do have to say this. Sprint by far has the best plans out there, and I fully respect them for sticking with the unlimited data (for now) unlike the crooks at Verizon and AT&T.
@Rigid11494 you may have unlimited data on your Verizon HTC incredible now, but wait till its time to renew your contract / upgrade and you want have unlimited data anymore because verizon changed the data plans on 7/6/11
@deathcommand you can. Most phones have a 4G toggle widget that is built in with their UI. I know the Evo 3D has it and Evo 4G should have it. If not you can always download a widget on Android market that will do this.
@deathcommand You can. It is in settings. But why not just carry around extra batteries in your wallet and plug into your car charger when you go places?
This ad is totally true within 3 months I changed from tmo to atnt to sprint and I experienced exactly what the ad says thats why I chose sprint. And yes I had to pay all those cancellation fees lol.
Yes Sprint doesn't throttle you -_-. Cause its throttled right from the start wooo 200k 3G speeds or lower 24/7, but oh well I'm still on sprint and it still has the best value so far
@im0rtalz That is not throttling. sprint has poor 3G service primarily because their backhaul is poor using T1 lines. Look up Sprint "Network vision" project to find out what Sprint is planning to do to increase voice coverage and 3G speeds. It looks like good things to come for sprint in the next couple years.
Im so happy with sprint its not even funny. I use my phone to print proof albums for my photo studio on the go, I play xbox wherever i want to bring my xbox and black ops with friends. All with an avergage of 8mpbs down and 2 up.
@TylerWinchester Ive seen some pretty damn juicy test from verizon yeah. But kinda expensive, plus the phone I like is on Sprints network so im good for now :D
@vitorcui Yeah, its more expensive because it is better. You get what you pay for. I am waiting for the Droid Bionic to come out. It is going to be a beast of a phone!
@papayspeanut And you and many others are the reason why Sprint will inevitably stop unlimited plans. Get an internet connection that has unlimited to play online. Otherwise everyone will say bye bye to unlimited. People are leaving T-Mobile because ATT bought them and Verizon has tiered plans now. Guess who they are going to sign up next ? Sprint. And if those people used 100gb in a month for games or movies. Sprint cannot handle the bandwidth and will eventually charge for 2gb/4gb a month.
@dontlookatme yes... lets do some math.... 29.99 for 2gb.... (enjoy your speed and burn through 2gb in a few days) now you pay $40 for 3gb..... $50 for 4GB.... and eventually $60 for 5GB
@Tierehl well they have an unlimited 2GB limit plan now, so if a person has the 2gb package, they'll get throttled after the 2 gigs. They also have a 10gb plan too.
Sprint has crappy service I wanted to try there coverage and phone and it sucked I was roaming most of the time what the hell is that well I came back to do far the best carrier AT&T
