Love how this makes swapping lenses so easy. I have a Blackrapid RS Sport and it can be a pain juggling with 2 lenses and a body you wanna keep face down.
Not sure how you get to "8-10lbs" with a 3.1lb body (inc batteries) and a 23oz lens though.
I can't believe these tools posting negative comments about you chewing gum....Seriously???
I am picking up one of these after the long weekend here. Going to use it for our vacation and making sure I am always ready for my 3 year old as he experiences Disney for the first time.
...continued: Every review I found online was positive. It's a no-brainer that it would work. Go strap your 8 lb. camera/lens to you chest with a belt or something and tell me it's not easier than lugging it around your neck or shoulder. Thanks again.
Great video. Who cares about the guy chewing gum!? I didn't even notice that until reading all these stupid disrespectful comments. Focus on the product. The product is solid. It works. It's ergonomic. It's intelligently designed. It makes sense. It carries the weight exactly at the body's center of gravity where it's least felt. It prevents neck, shoulder and arm strain. It's a winner and thanks to this guy for designing it. Try it before you make any dumb comments. Read reviews online. Every
Do you know what i do, i wear a neck strap, BOOM! under the collar no neck digging in, camera bag over my shoulder BooM! piece of cake, this is solving no problem that doesnt exist, if i have a model in the studio, it would look so stupid with the photographer looking like the Rambo of the photography world.
Out on the field say, last month i was in town photographing a zombie walk for halloween as a documentory, i dont want to look like a pro out on location, it makes people feel uneasy.
I have had the belt carrier for over a year, love it since neck straps cuts into my skin when it's hot. Besides it costing too much, the belt version is not that great for heavy gear because of it's location. It's awkward with my vertical grip and a heavier lens. Also forget about sitting with it on. I usually have to have my butt cheek sticking out in order to sit without taking it off.
i love chewing gum, drinking rum, having a bean burritto for a job well done! most annoying shit ive ever seen. a mark III doesnt weigh 10 pounds you idiot.
I really have been looking for a hands-free system with the ability to keep two cameras at the ready... the positioning appears perfect also.
Any negative aspects from anyone who has this system? I agree with others... would be more convenient if you had posted a link for sourcing.. but that's probably a simple google job... take care!

People commenting about the gum? Seriously? I think that's more stupid.

He said "it's made here in North America". The Cotton Carrier is on fact made on China.

@moviewatcher1024 Wow! Lexan is made in China?!?

I agree that chewing gum while doing his commercial is dumb.

Disgusting bubblegum chewing... 8-10 pounds for the camera and lens? Closer to 3-4 pounds. Anyway, this product looks great to me. Boom.

The 1D Mk III weighs 41 oz. The 100-400 weighs 48 oz. Add a bit for the battery, etc, and you get about 6 lbs.
