i had a seter just like yours we lived on a highway we had a elctric fence wire thing to keeps that darn dog in the he started to dig under it to chace cars im sorry we tryed we dont have the dog anny more he lern't the hard way buy a hit buy a pick up truck is was not a cheep dog to loose i have another dog that was given to us and i dont need that elctric fence anny more the dog i have stays in the yard

its actually Labs (black ) that are condidered untrainable, and its only because they are stubborn, as are golden retrievers, mostly due to lack of mental excercise..that dog is jsut playing, though it should be trained to be seen and not heard, poor neighbors :(
