  • some of the pillars must use the vacum affect to draw water to the uper layers thus giving the effect

  • oh wait i think i understand, if you pay attention he is pouring in more water then remains on the botom plain,

  • figured it out, it was actualy pretty simple

  • ok i understand how it works kinda but i still dont see how the water moves along the whole thing, it just doesn't seem to fit, things that require alot of logical thinking tend to give me a head ack, mostly cause i never took the time to focus on any one thing but this just doesnt make sence, how does the water move along the entire structure without giving away the illusion? pouring water in one point shouldnt be able to do this

  • This is the last waterfall explanation on YouTube and i still dont understand ಥ_ಥ plz help me

  • so how was the water moving in the other vid? photo shop?

  • LMAO at all the nobs, after two videos of explination.... still dont get it. hahaha

  • thumbs up if u still dont understand cuz i dont o.O

  • i fugured it out but its still cool

  • you got it? i didn't

  • I doesn't make sense

  • Haha i knew it!

    You teleported the water!

  • @mcwolles you didnt explain shit fuckwad.

  • @viper8608 no need to be a lifeless douche bag. get a life and then youll know how... dumbass.

  • @mcwolles talking helps when u try to explain something

  • This doesn't explain it though, he pours the liquid in next to the wheel. According to this video the next step is to roll promptly onto the floor. The wheel slope is the bottom slope so it could not "pour" into the next one above it. Just saying simply "add water" means you don't think very hard

  • He just shows how he cheated.

He used different clips to pour water on the different platforms. Thats what this video shows, that the structure isn't the real Escher waterfall.

  • @Nagelzz "...the structure isn't the real Escher waterfall"

    Well yeah, it's impossible!

I like the fact that he didn't make claims about it being real, and rather just showed how he made the illusion. I was a little disappointed that it was after-effects and not some cool magician trick. Maybe that's the next step?

  • I don't get it

  • That didn't explain very much.

  • If you don´t let the water run, we can not get how it works, Dah!

  • I love Escher

  • WTF is that?

  • I don't get it

  • i'm still confused!

  • Wow niicee explanationn! *said sarcasticly*

  • What an explination

  • The original MC Escher Waterfall was where the water would make a complete circulation around the structure. The water has to go up the canals and fall into the wheel. By looking at your design, this would never happen.

  • so this is fake? lawl

  • 永久不滅のエネルギーか?そうではない、なにかがあって不滅ではなくなる原因があるのでしょうね?

  • @Inoue9872 私はビデオを理解していない。

  • I heard someone walking with heigh heels .......probably REALY pissed wife XD JK

  • thatis shit! but i like how u created the waterfall

  • what did you explain? Damn you

  • Nice Budgies

  • Thats great....i kinda figured it out on the one where you colored it. but this one made it perfectly clear to me, great mind man. look up floating stairs, and try that one, its pretty easy, just a matter of perception. Thanks for the vid. not to get an A in Psychology! =)

  • wow...awesome...took a long time to understand it....

  • Watch first /watch?v=1B1cmBdyUiw

  • worst explanation I have EVER HEARD.... oh wait... I didn't hear anything at all.

  • computer graphics - make 3 vids of water flowing in each level, then bind it together (and remove these endings used for filling by overlaying)

  • you suck at explaining shit

  • Take the mix out

  • Just add water mix it's just like martha stuerts resepe

  • U DIDNT EXPLAIN IT YOI JUST SHOWED THE WATERFALL

  • Ahh

  • @JeanneTheKCfan tell us? :S

  • @TheDadonny it was like an "umm" .. i also don't get it! ;)

  • This looks like my video. Only mine is rendered

  • ???????????? I still dnt get it :( !!!??????

  • Once you've elimiminated the impossible....

  • i hate you so much

  • Its done in after effects, you take video pouring the water into each section, then edit it

  • pause the video at the end you will see, just imagen that those paper things sticking out wernt there

  • This made it even hard to understand wtf?

  • BEST EXPLANATION EVER

  • put some water in that shit and start it up

  • ...huh?

  • I has an argument with myself for clicking this.

  • Just add water.

  • you edit the water in, that's how.

  • Water man. Water

  • I know what you saying. Vvvv :(

  • Now it makes even LESS sense :(

  • sounds like the birds are having sex out there

  • My farts are better than this video and believe me the stink

  • oh i get it!...wait no i dont...

  • I had it right ; )

    flickr.com/photos/29090239@N06/5463050948/in/photostream

  • I still don't get it...

  • Ya.... I'm sorry, but in all illusion videos they show how it's done at the end of every video, I don't see a pump or anything that would have brought the water up, also you covered it up with some kind of material.

Your explanation video isn't very good.

  • Actually I don't get it.

  • @aomcastor its a paradox. it looks like a complete structure when viewed from a certain angle, but in reality its not.

  • @jollyrogger51 No if you watched the video, the water went up, hes saying, how did it get up

  • This is so confusing:S

  • I like the part when he showing us when water comes

  • I still don't get it o.o

  • ahn?

  • That was NO explanation !

  • makes fuck all sense to me ... give us some detail on how to construct and the workings of this system, lets make free energy for all .... that or your full of shit!

  • The plastic pieces on the edges wouldn't be there. At 0:44, all of the planes slant AWAY from you. When he pours water on each level, as it moves away, it appears to move upward.

  • Yes Sean I suppose your right... Fucking idiot. Say that it's an illusion witch yea were not five. Stil doesn't explain how it happened. Water pumps ? Maybe don't know. That's the question, rude ass

  • I agree with this but what I don't get is how does the water climb up?

  • Two words for all the people that come here looking for answers... OPTICAL ILLUSION!!!!!

  • great work!

  • You built it wrong.

  • agree. doesn't make any sense: how does the water falls into the beginning????

  • Ooor look up the other two explination videos, and that will sum it up quite nicely

  • Please look up the word "explanation" ... this video is not one. merriam-webster . com/dictionary/explanation

  • I see there remains definitely a question

  • @kampfsack2009 the water is poured from into the top is seen poured at the bottom

  • but how does the water flow?!

  • FOOL! Now that i know your unlimited power secret i shall rule the earth!! MUHAHAHAHAH!!!

  • model invalid.

  • and thanks to show the truth behind the movie... after making people swet for a while... lol.

  • its not fake... its f*** real!!! escher's construct is very real, mcwolles was great making it 3d and was genius filming the 2D and making millions (including me) bust their head's open trying to figure it out... even knowing escher's original drawings... thanks mcwolles!!!

  • lol

    so it is "fake" haha

    but really nice edited .

  • i dont understand yet :( sorry

  • I knew it! Those paper bag/extension things have portals in them!

  • I still don't get it!

  • Hum... now please also show us the magic wand you used!

  • doesnt make any sense

  • @konradsenerdumme yes it does the creator admitted to using camera cuts to get the effect

  • @konradsenerdumme watch the other video he made called waterfall.

  • thats good now show how it works LOL

  • @CubbyNINJA Isn't it obvious? The top level which appears to flow into the other one actually flows towards the wheel. So the water going onto the wheel comes directly from the top. The next level flows toward the back, so it looks like it's flowing up even though it's actually flowing down. The only question is how the color flows smoothly. I can think of a number of mechanisms he could use to achieve the effect, although I'm not sure which would be most effective.

  • @notthecheatr There are a lot of problems with your explanation. How the heck is the water appearing at the top. In the original video there is infinite water coming from the top layer. So your explanation still doesnt explain the whole concept.

  • @MapleCousins My explanation is obviously right from observation, the question is how the water appears to move smoothly between the three pieces. What we have explained here is the illusion - how water could apparently move up hill. The answer is that it's actually moving down hill, on three separate pieces. The only question is how. Again, I can think of several possible ways, but no idea which is actually right.

  • @CubbyNINJA it doesn't the original video creator admitted to using camera cuts

  • @CubbyNINJA

    its simple not working;)

  • So... CGI paintouts where the plastic ends, pour water through the different levels, comp it together?

  • Were I First?
