I think you may want to read that law closer. It was made for ambulance and EMT personell who have come up to the accident will be protected. It is not for just anybody riding down the road. They can sue a regular citizen so if you stop make sure you are willing to face the consiquinc

That's NOT what the "Good Samaritan law" is about. Its a law that protects bystanders who decide to help out, from any legal trouble.

For instance, you see a guy trapped in a burning car... you pull them out,... they can't sue you, because the person's leg got caught on some broken metal, and got cut. It gives bystanders confidence to help, where in the past people would hesitate to help, for fear of litigation.

It doesn't force anyone to help anyone.
