God helps people who are willing to receive his help. Does it make sense to help someone who is to ignorant to even listen? The Bible says that when we totally commit our lives to Jesus, and invite Him to come into our hearts, that we are Born Again, and it also says that God supernaturally actually recreates our eternal spirit, and makes it "alive" to Him! Unless a person goes through this spiritual transformation and recreation, He will NOT be admitted into heaven! God obviously wants only those who are "turned on" to Him!
