The trumpet drags a little in the beginning. This arrangement sounds good though. The trombone was playing the wrong song in the beginning of his solo, though.

What does band mean in your post? Bigband or combo?

Playing in a combo is way different from playing in a bigband.

And Playing in a bigband is harder, if you ask me.

I was in there my sophmore year and yeah that performance was a bit shaky but that year we were legit. we went to State for jazz band where we played Lush life, Fantazm, and Cotton Tail it where we got straight superiors and i miss the director Mr. Smith he was a damn good director

Nice job guys....this is an amazing song. Don't listen to the guy before me....he obviously takes joy in pointing out only the negative. I thought it sounded awesome, especially for a highschool band. Wish my jazz band sounded that good.
