@koziro112 I used a custom cut spring. On top of that yes, i added 6mm bushings so that the axles of the gears would have a solid foundation to ride on. I know i did a few other modifications but i did this so long ago that i cannot remember what i did.

@PTownAirSofter Negative. It does hyper extend the wrist a bit but not to the point of pain. Magpul invented the AFG to put the wrist at a more natural angle while still allowing the user to get as high on the gun as possible. Watch some of my other shooting vids, im using the same grip.

@jeisinga Well, in all fairness i was firing it in a very and i mean very open room with 20 foot ceilings so it sounds a little meaner than it really does, ie the echo adds to the sound a bit. To better answer your question yes, when you are firing bb's the sound signature does change a bit but it still has a unique sound and its still quite sharp.
Its a 7.4 volt 25C lipo. Its roughly equivalent to a 9.6 volt NIMH. The bearing/bushing size has little to do with what the gun is capable of unless you're pushing extremes. Ie, a larger diameter bearing is needed the higher you push FPS and ROF. You can easily run a 500 fps gun on 6mm BUSHINGS. Conversely, you can also easily run a 35 RPS gun on 6mm BUSHINGS as well.
Oh, ok. By 6mm V2 gearbox, I was referring to the unreinforced gearbox, not the bushings. Personally I'd only run this setup you have in 7mm+ gearboxes (again, not because of the bushings, but because of the reinforced areas).
Not all 7mm gearboxes are reinforced. At 350 fps you do not need reinforcing in the cylinder window if you radius the corners. Even without radiusing the corners the TM V9 is more than adequate to handle the speed and power that im running these guns at.
Yeah, low powered ones don't. And I wasn't talking about in like 30 seconds of firing, I was talking about over a long period of time, like 1-2 years.
I understand what your trying to say, but most people dont keep a single airsoft gun for 1-2 years. But a battery is a battery and you have to use mega voltages before you should be scared of using them in a airsoft gun.
I've got 3 people running 14.8 volts at my field, and one running 18.5. You just have to take pre cautions

If you dont chop your spring by about an inch you're going to end up preventing the recoil weight from reciprocating in the receiver extension. I will have custom Sopmod springs and recoil springs available soon guys!!!
ha! If i had cut the mainspring a little more it would have retained some of its original recoiling goodness. Instead, it bounces around a bit but doesnt quite feel like it used to. All in all its still a VERY fun rifle.
Sorry for not replying sooner, been busy with alot of things! The gun comes in stock form with a somewhat realistic style barrel nut. The barrel nut will accommodate the MOE handguards without modification but if you want the lockup to be REALLY tight i recommend replacing the barrel nut/delta ring with a Classic Army Barrel nut/delta ring assembly.
Its a modified three gunner style grip. I use it to mitigate recoil on my real AR. Its useful when you shoot square to the target in a non bladed stance. It works for me but im definitely not a high speed guy, just a regular joe who shoots for fun and trains every now and then.
What's with the grip. Isn't that a little hard to do CQB like that, especially when you aren't in the front of the stack? Anyway if you can still jack people, more power to ya

where i live 450fps is the limit and most have 30rof on competition and you could shoot as near as 1foot.

i have a TM M4 and the magpul handguard does no fit. the wedge is too small to fit in. Will the delta ring from CA fix that?
