this song is the song i'll remember my fellow senior french horns by, im a sophmore, the only one. and im gonna take over for them. :') this piece is sooo beautiful..freshman year wind ensemble with them when they were juniors..that year was mesmorizing for me....AMAZING. don't know how to say it any better..

All of the parts here are nicely covered. Symphonic Band music is wonderful when it is played by a good ensemble. It is a shame that it has been condemned to be hacked by crappy high school, college and military ensembles. This stuff deserves to be played by pros to a much wider audience. Parts of this are heart breakingly beautiful....

I wonder why its like that, all major performances are still being dominated by rich orchestras playing classical music. there needs to be professional bands going around playing new music and attracting more audience members

Fantastic piece. I played this for adjudication in my high school wind ensemble. This really brings back memories. Keep posting all this wonderful music my friend. Let the people get a taste of Vesuvius by Frank Ticheli if you deem it appropriate, it's awesome stuff!
