Hey you should try out our trains here in America. You can get robbed in less than 57 seconds! America, the greatest country on the face of the earth!
I have tried out your trains and was duly unimpressed. I have tried out the trains in many countries but have only had one attempt at robbing me and that was in Paris.
@Rocketboy1950 Duly unimpressed eh? Nothing in this country impresses me either. I suppose that since you were almost robbed in Paris that we have to step up our looting of the middle class here so our train rides will be more dangerous. Hey, when you can't do anything right, you may as well celebrate your failures. That's why we say with great pride and hickish patriotism "America, the greatest country on earth".
@kawasaki2948 Why are you telling me this? Look when it comes to repetative failure regarding simple problems with our country that only simply common sense solutions can correct, America is the best at making these problems worse in order to benefit it's corporate owners. In other words we are the best at showing other countries what not to do, rather than what to do. That gives us world recognition.
@Rocketboy1950 - I've been to USA, rode trains in LA, Got a train right across USA, LA/Chicago/Boston - was fantastic, rode trains in Boston, Acela from Boston to NYC, then NYC/Washington DC back to NYC - was great, extensively used NYC subway, met with only friendly people all the way, had a great trip, hope to go ride some more US trains in the not-to-distant future. People are people - stick just 100m people in Australia (let alone three times that) and let's see how "smart" we really are!
Oh wow, I didn't know the Siemens were all open like this, I've never actually been on one. All the trains are like this in Hong Kong and Taipei. It's a good idea. The ones in Hong Kong are 7 or 8 cars long without any head units in the middle so you can see all the way down the train.
Left right left right left right left...they should put more twists and turns in the track..If I ever become an alcoholic and drop out of my current uni course I might just become a railway engineer
The ferals are still in bed at 8AM. Glad you took the first comment down, but I still get to see it :-) When they are on the mobile at 97dB I am tempted myself.
Hmmm didn't realise they had open end designs for carriages now. Interesting view at 3x speed seeing the bouncing and changes to inter-carriage alignment.

Yeah I think they should do a feral cull in Melbourne as it would at least make our trains a bit safer.
