From what I've heard ZUN took it from the Agatha Christie novel 'And Then There Were None'

Mr/Mrs U.N. Owen (Unknown)? was character in the novel who tricked non-convicted murderers onto an island where he/she would brutally murder them.

So the reference is simply; Was Flandre the one who tricked them out on that island and brutally killed them? Possibly... she's pretty powerful. (Flandre has a spellcard called 'and then there were none?')

I'll leave the rest of the analyzing to you. =P
