i love those evac toilets and the auto flush much better, i been there and im getting use to it, also im been playing with my little paper characters and flush it down the toilets, much better 100/100
I've found it isn't one of the auto flushes that go off when you move. If you see the auto flush demonstration video, it shows it. The sensor flashes red for a certain time before flushing when the user is away, if the user goes back it goes back to waiting.
that would be nice but this is in London St. Pancras' new area which is very modern and it wouldn't feel or look right, the toilets also need to flush at high speed and be able to flush again straight away as they get very very busy, I had to queue the first time, and the ladies toilet queue was coming very far out the door.
I was confused on how to use these types of sensor the first time, I kept moving back to make the red light go off while trying to keep the camera on the bowl. I found the overide second time.
It looks and sounds like one, I knew they did but rarely, I think they got these to save water and speed up waiting times because it gets very busy and most times you have to queue, and the queues would be longer if they were normal cisterns because people would have to wait for them to refill causing longer queues. This wasn't teh case for the ladies though, there was a really long queue of people coming out the entrance ...
I remember now...When I was little, theres this small park I live near. I went in the washroom and the toilet scared the life out of me! I literally ran away and screamed when i flushed it.
it was a airplane style vacuum toilet (the kind with no water till u flush) that flushed by pressing a small video game style green button.

so on cruise ships does the waste go straight into the ocean?

Nope. It goes into a holding tank, but usually when the holding tank is full and the ship is in waters that allow it, it's emptied into the sea.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
Sensors in general are not good. Whether it'd be on rollercoasters or washrooms or even doors. Right?

No, Acornvac are more square. Next time I'm in London I'll have to look for a logo on the side of these.

Haha I remembered that too well. Now that washroom is no longer at the park and is now replaced by a port-a-john.
It was so funny though when I pressed that video game style button. I thought something would pop out at me.

Are you sure thats a cruise ship toilet? I never knew they used vvacuum toilets outside ships, planes and trains.
