yes ,you are right on with your opinion ,it is a joy to hear this song and Micky is
sounds better then ever ,the whole band just gets super excellent from already being excellent. I am just getting Satisfaction playing Rolling Stones videos or listening to Cd's
I can immediately tell Jagger's 2010 voice from his 1972 voice. His style has changed over the years as has the tone of his voice. This tune clearly has the current Jagger singing. The music on this tune clearly sound like 1972, which makes this tune definitely worth listening to. I don't know if this is Nicky Hopkins on piano, but it definitely has his flavor. He added so much to the Stones sound of those days.
@ls1959 Yes you hit the nail on the head. Mick is not as good as he used to be...he has lost so much of that raw emotion that made songs like Sympathy For The Devil so great
@ls1959 At first I thought it was Billy PReston because of the little 32 notes here and there...and then I started listening and it seems like it HAD to be Nicky...then I 'm thinkin' what if 2 pianos...it 's a hard call..Billy could actually do ballad stuff...anbd Nicky was usually more ? I dunno...Nickys ballads where a little different than BIllys...but this is soo close..the only person I know to call has passed on and the others I won't talk to...HA! I guess we just have to listen n enjoy?
@ls1959 Nice instrumentation. But thanks to Jaggers' later years vocal overdub, this sounds like a bloody "Goddess In The Doorway" outtake.A very cynical ploy,to shift yet some more Exile copies.

I actually believe Keith could have sung this better ... and that's not good on Mick's part.

I dunno about the piano...could be Billy ..could be Nicky...Could be two pianos...
one thing is for sure..IT"s a Jimmy Miller production...listen to the Choir ~ It's his thumbprint if he ever had one.

This must be one of the vocals they overdubbed for the new re-release.
