  • 2007 was a great year to swim the Hudson for the NYC Tri. 2008 however was invasion of the jellyfish! 2009 back to no jellyfish. Let's hope they don't like even numbered years :) Good luck in 2010!

  • Just like Lake Erie around Cleveland. Used to be a lot more polluted than it is now, and many swim in it.

  • you're absolutely wrong - it was once very polluted but it's now one of the cleanest rivers in NY. people swim in it everyday in the Summer!

    I'm competing in the 2009 NYC Tri - I can't wait! Thanks for the video!
