They still really havent taken any time off. Like right after the blaqk audio tour the went back to the studio and recorded the unrealesd AFI EP then they started writing the new album, went to record it, changed their minds went and recorded it again, and in sometim ebetween all this they made ANOTHER blaqk audio record and now when they finsh crash love tour they will realease new blaqk audio and go on tour. They still havent taken a break and maybe never will. :P

Yeah they did. In 2007 AFI recorded an EP, but it didn't get released. 100 words and Fainting Spells and Ether And Carcinogen Crush were supposed to be released on it. And so was The View From Here. i can give you a link to Jade's direct post of the EP tracks if it helps you believe.

Fainting Spells, Carcinogen Crush, and The View From Here were all recorded during the Decemberunderground sessions, while 100 words was recorded during the STS sessions... There was no AFI recording in 2007. "You can't be and Afi fan...." That makes no sense...

They were actually recorded during that session, good point. I do know what you mean, that it wasn't recorded, but it was planned. I thought you didn't know of it altogether. sorry. But at this point they were writing. So they still haven't taken much of a break.... But there is a lot of discussion as to whether of not 100 words was rerecorded, which i'm not willing to get into.

What I'm scared of right now is the point where Davey and Jade will have to choose where to prioritize: Blaqk Audio or AFI. I don't know...this feeling in my gut that someday Blaqk Audio may be the reason for AFI's disbandment...I hope that day won't come, not that I'm opposed to their desire to create it in the first place, but there will always be that time where they will have to focus on one thing. I hope AFI will continue to be AFI in the years to come.

look i just get angry when people insult them for trying to do something different. i mean, u dont like it. ok. but keep those opinions 2 yrself and dont go accusing ppl of being losers because they like what u dont or whatever. Jade didnt mess up the band, he HELPED IT. same w/ Hunter. those 2 joining the band helped it in a lot of ways. they good, dont accuse them. this lineup is strong, and i hav a good feeling this is the lineup for life.
