  • I DID IT! I always did it on bare nail and it never worked until i went thru all of the comments.

  • @TheEmber321 awesome xD

  • @IndigoNova1 thanks :)

  • My question is, What is the plastic thing u hve on ur nails? Why can't u do it on bare nails?

  • @ladybads95 I put sticky tape on my skin around the nails cause the polish gets everywhere.....that way its much easier to clean up.

And you can't water marble on bare nails cause the polish on top of the water is very very thin, so if you put it over bare nails you'd see right thru it. I always put a layer of one of the polishes on my nails first to make a good base for the design :)

  • This is awesome, I'm going to try it.

    Thanks for the upload :)

  • @MissSarah1864 Thank you, I'm so glad you're gonna try it ^_^

  • I love your work it's icredible, I have one question for you, why I can't do water marble with all my nail polishes? thank you

  • @asoncek Some are too thick (you can thin them), and some are just plain awkward lol. Not all formulas work. China Glaze work well tho :)

  • I may try water marbling sometime, but it took me years just to be able to put polish on regular with a brush without looking like I'd been fingerpainting with it (I'm really unsteady with my hands so even the biggest 'detail' work is something of a challenge for me). I can only imagine the manner of mess I'd make with this.

I love it, tho. It's just such an awesome look!

  • @zEropoint68 Yeah, I can get in a heck of a mess when I practice marbelling lol. I still flood my cuticles when I paint my nails xD

  • when I apply the top coat, a lot of tiny bubbles always appear in the coat and cover the whole nail:( is it becoz I hv problems in my technique, or my top coat is not a good one? This is so disturbing to me, coz it distroys all the drawings:(:(

  • @JessCLK Hi, if you watch a video I did called 'topcoats that don't smudge nail art', you might find it helpful. Also, go thru the comments on that video, cause I gave a massive long answer to that exact question, and it might help you out ^_^

  • @IndigoNova1 thanks! Just watched that video and read that comment. You're so kind coz you always reply comments:)

  • @JessCLK No probs, I hope some of the advice will help, I've had bubbly topcoat before and it sucks :(

  • I love love love this! I always hate to see so much nail polish used for one nail. I try to dip 2-3 nails at the same time - with varying results. This is perfect. Not overly complicated, beautiful out come and far less of a waste if the design doesn't pan out. You, my dear, are genius.

  • @MakeupLuck Oh my goodness I'm blushing ^_^ I'm exactly the same, I hate to waste the polish too

  • can you use regular water instead?

  • @H8171996 It depends on the water in your area. Give it a try and if it doesn't work well switch to bottled or filtered water :)

  • I love how you use a shot glass and minimal drops of polish. I feel like it's a huge waste to make a whole bullseye for one finger, so even though i use a normal sized cup, i dip my whole hand at once. Definitely using your method next time!(:

  • @randomU2br Great! Thank you, I hate to waste the polish so I always try to get away with using as little as possible lol

  • I didnt like how..like transparent the gold was on the black but I love the pink and white definetly doing it this weekend :)

  • @skeletonsrock0823 Good luck with it =)

  • @IndigoNova1 thx =p

  • really awsom

    e

  • @mrsgreysonchancexoxo thank you :)

  • I like the fact that you used only one drop of each color, instead of 5 or 6 drops.

  • @xoxoPandaPandaxoxo Thanks, it makes me cringe when I see people using 10-15 drops, it's such a waste

  • When I watermarble I often get like a tiny buble of air or something underneath the nail polish. It's not really noticable, but me being the perfectionist that I am, I strongly dislike it. Do you know how to prevent it? Please help.

  • @NannaLaurie Place your nail in the water really slowly, then once it's in give it a wiggle to dislodge the bubbles. Doesn't always work tho, I think the polishes used make a difference too

  • sooo prettyy!!
