@australbanian um there were plans to invade australia but the Japanese army did not want because it would cost them to many lives and it was to problematic to keep. they knew that by the time there were able to our battle harden forces would be back and it would be even more bloody taking australia, and they would then have to deal with NZ troops aswell. they knew that they would need the majority or there forces to mount a successful invasion which is y they chose to cut us off from the world

Albania on the other hand had signed a 20 year defense pact with the Italians. Was it an invasion or was it just a charade. Less than a 100 Albanians died. Some say it was more of a leadership coup, not an invasion, hence the locking of the munitions stores.
