I liked SR2 better than GTA 4. the fact you could play co op with a friend. and drive so many different vehicles. and the police werent that strict. and you can customise your character in so many different ways. The cheats available in SR2 are a lot better than GTA 4.

Totally, I mean GTA4 had the graphics and the physics, but very little besides that. This game is a funny open world game where the developers went for gameplay and possibilities as top priority instead of graphics and physics. When I play SR2 I just wanna run around and have fun, whilst in GTA4 there is little to the game except for the story.
This game is what it shows you, wacky fun. GTA 4 attempted a much more realisitc experience and so the fun factor suffered. This game is all about being fun and wacky and silly, so it is much better gameplay wise. And being that a game is about gameplay, Saints Row 2 Wins

The game isn't much like GTA4. That game goes for realism, and this is just totally out there. This is like San Andreas, which had all sorts of secrets and was over the top in terms of gameplay.
GTA4 tries to create a more serious narrative with a moral dynamic, whereas this game does nothing like that.
The similarities are open world sand box gameplay with a sprawling metropolis...and that's basically it. Other than that, a lot of the gameplay elements, aswell as the story, are different.
it's too hard? bullshit, it's called realistic progression. You get rpgs etc etc if you just play through the story missions. it's ridiculous jumping off the boat into america and finding an rpg on the floor.

Saints row 2 beats GTA BORE (i mean 4). Saints row has a 9/10 storyline once you get into it. 10/10 in editing as you can edit cribs, cars, your gang's style and even yourself and much more. 10/10 in combat as you can grab, throw, shoot and blow up etc etc. Controls 9/10. Driving 10/10 on ps3 you can drive helicopters and boats by turning yor controller, ace or what? the best thing is, you get to choose if ya wanna do that. Overall 10/10. I can't stop playing it. I'm not a fan of Saint's Row... I've never played it. - It's fanbase, despite the intelligent people, the few and far between that I think there are, seem mostly like morons - at least in the sense that they feel they have to bash anyone who doesn't like the game or at least knows that it has stolen its style from GTA. K, first of all. GTA4 Actually stole things from the first Saints row. So if anything, you should be saying GTA4 is a shitty knock off of saints row. Because, to be honest. Saints row one and two are WAYYYY better then GTA4.

At first GTA 4 is cool, but even when you are FILTHY RICH, you still have to do favors for others.
For EX:
"I need you to do somthing for me"
"I need you to steal somthing for me"
"Hey cousin ,lets go Bowling!"
It gets less fun and more of a chore.
I do like GTA IV for story ,charecters and graphics.Saints row had more options for creating your own "GUY" or "GIRL" and cars,clothes, and even gangs
This may be the only review you did that i personatly did not like 2/5 stars

It appears a lot of Saints Row fanboys on here have the I.Q of a turtle. But on many other Saints Row 2 vids I see a lot of GTAIV fanboys that talk about how bad and dumb SR2 is. So I wouldn't go as far as saying this game attracts idiots. Your video just attracts idiots. You can find many GTA fanboys on the other vids that shit all over SR2.

I'm not a fan of Saint's Row... I've never played it. - It's fanbase, despite the intelligent people, the few and far between that I think there are, seem mostly like morons - at least in the sense that they feel they have to bash anyone who doesn't like the game or at least knows that it has stolen its style from GTA. That being said I gave this review a bad score. Why? Because in my opinion the Godfather II is better than Godfather I, and even if it wasn't, it's still a masterpiece.

this is an honest review but have you played Saints row 1 if you havent theres no point in playin the sequal. Yes the online is acctually fun to play its like the good old saints row 1 with some more weps and other shit.
(Plus you didnt talk bout the character customization atall remember you cant customize your character in gta IV like you can in Saints Row 2) I give this game 9.5/10

errr. i don't think you can wear fingerless gloves, customize bikes and cars, make your own awesome character, fly planes, use miniguns, stun guns, chainsaws, pepperspray, katana's, pimp cane shotguns and shock paddles as weapons. you also dont have activities like demolition derby, hitman, spraying shit over buildings, fight club.you also have alot of clothing customisation options, like ninja suits, hotdog suit, and more costumes.
and cars are actually driveable.
nope, not possible in gta 4.
