It was all abit convenient for the Americans at the end of this film lol. The villain throught the entire film disobeyed orders, charges, loses the battle for Great Britain, then they all live happily ever after ;). I think if this battle occured in the real war, the colonials would have stood no chance. I say this because in this battle, their were no French. And 9/10 of British land defeats were when the French were involved or when Britain was outnumbered. But thats Hollywood for you...
tavington, damn him, damn that man!

I would have employed Shaka's "horns of the bull" movement on these men of the red coat.

What if he was only guy who charged out onto the field? That would be funny.

I always wondered what became of Wilkins. Did he get killed in the battle? Because you never see him again :O

If he didn't die I don't think he could go back to the english forces
darthraven178 2 years ago
I hope Tavington didn't die of his wounds, I would cry if he did, but then again they don't confirm whether he did or not.
SerenaGuerrero25 2 years ago
he didnt die in real life the guy he was based on went back to england and became a successful politician
EnglishWatcher 2 years ago
@EnglishWatcher no he didnt he died a disgrace and pennyless.lost a few fingers in a battle aswell
relmmih6 3 months ago
@SerenaGuerrero25 haha, if you're talking about the movie character, didn't Mel Gibson stab him in the throat? Tavs probably didn't survive that one.
novestige 1 year ago
@SerenaGuerrero25 if its any comfort the real person "tarleton" (who tavington is based upon) survived the war and entered politics he died in 1833
